We’ve rounded up the best boxing gyms and classes in Hong Kong featuring Muay Thai boxing, Cuban boxing, kickboxing and more.
A combat sport and martial art, boxing is a Team Sassy favourite workout! Like self-defence, you learn new skills, get fitter and stronger and give yourself the confidence to protect yourself. Techniques and styles range from “Western” boxing to Cuban, Muay Thai, kickboxing and more, with kicking, elbow strikes, jabs and hooks (depending on the rules!). Some of boxing’s many benefits include relieving stress, building strength, helping you maintain a healthy weight and maybe even earning a championship belt to wear around your waist. It’s all a little badass (if you don’t mind us saying). Hong Kong is home to many, many boxing gyms and other fitness centres that offer boxing classes, so we’ve narrowed it down to our top seven!
Looking for something different? We’ve also rounded up yoga and pilates studios, dance workshops, our favourite CrossFit and HIIT classes as well as tips to start strength training.
