The Best Pizza In Hong Kong: From Deep Dish To Thin Crust, Slices For Every Occasion

12 August, 2026
people taking pizza slices and drinking on a pool floaty in Hong Kong, where to get the best pizza in Hong Kong

From pizzerias that made the Asia-Pacific Top 50 Pizzas list to authentic hidden gems, here’s where to find margherita, pepperoni, gluten-free pizza and more in Hong Kong…

Who doesn’t love pizza? If you don’t, this probably isn’t for you (but also, are you okay?). Hong Kong has no shortage of new restaurants and menus, but finding a pie that truly delivers can be a challenge. Assuming you’re trying to branch out from the standard Pizza Express or Pizza Hut (no shade, we love a good stuffed crust as much as the next person), this is where you’ll want to start. After plenty of ‘research’, we’ve rounded up the best places in town for pizzas that actually hit the spot.

Pizza from Fiata in Hong Kong, best pizza in HK

Fiata — True Italian pizza on Staunton Street

Starting the list strong with Fiata! It is consistently voted as the best pizzeria in Hong Kong, and it landed the #3 spot on the Asia-Pacific Top 50 Pizzas list! Third-generation pizza maker Salvatore Fiata brings a true taste of Italy to our city with a flawless Margherita ($165) and standout options like A’ Salsiccia ($225), topped with fior di latte, Alife onion cream, caramelised red onions and Italian sausage. We also love the simple yet delicious antipasti, like the surprisingly divine tomato soup ($80).

Pricing: $80 to $180 for antipasti, $165 to $235 for pizza
Deals: Our favourite Fiata lunch deal (Monday to Friday, 12pm to 2:30pm) includes an antipasti, pizza and beverage for $178 (add on dessert for $30)
Sassy Tip: If you can’t get a booking at Fiata (who can these days?), head next door to The Savory Project, which exclusively serves their epic pies, and wash it down with a delicious cocktail!

BACI Trattoria & Bar best pizza in hong kong

BACI Trattoria & Bar — Lively pizzeria and bar in Lan Kwai Fung

Also making the Asia-Pacific Top 50 list at #23, BACI is a standout in the pizza and the happy hour scene. Though slightly on the pricier side, we love BACI’s unique and fusion options, like the South of Asia ($248), topped with caramelised onions, bacon, pineapple and habanero, and the Romana ($218), with fior di latte, salsiccia, roasted potato and rosemary.

Pricing: $128 to $218 for antipasti, $198 to $278 for pizza (also there a Magic Gold Pizza for $598)
Deals: Head over during a weekday lunchtime to get a starter, main course and coffee or tea for $268 (plus dessert for $38 extra)

Paisano’s Pizzeria — Affordable staple with multiple Hong Kong branches

While we were fully depressed about the Hollywood Road branch closing — talk about a comfort slice to line the stomach before a night out — there are still enough branches left where we can get our greasy fix of New York-style pizza. Dive into pies by the slice or in various sizes, so everyone’s appetite is satiated, or opt for one of its other classics, like calzones, sub sandwiches and pasta dishes.

Pricing: $20 to $35 for snacks, from $25 for a pizza slice, from $100 for a small to $340 for a large whole pizza

spread of pizza, starters and pizza fritta from Little Napoli where you can get Authentic Neapolitan Pizza in Hong Kong

Little Napoli — Authentic Neapolitan pizza in Wan Chai

Ranked #32 on Asia’s Top 50 pizzas, this charming pizzeria is also Salvatore Fiata’s favourite pizza in the city! We aren’t surprised, the pies here are simple but without fault — chewy, light and made with ingredients sourced straight from Italy. Chef Gavino Pilo is also a Naples native, which is obvious from takeaway options like the $208 Pizza Portafoglio (folded into a wallet shape), a nod to Neapolitan street food.

Pricing: $138 to $288 for antipasti, $188 to $238 for pizza

Little Napoli, G/F, Antung Building, 6-16 Tai Wong Street East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong, 6882 1823, www.littlenapolihk.com

pizza surrounded by ingredients at The Pizza Project in Wan Chai and Central Hong Kong

The Pizza Project — Innovative and classic pizzas in Wan Chai and Central

Here’s the thing about The Pizza Project: while its menu mainstays are solid (like the spicy Diavola for $138 or guilty pleasure ‘Sottobosco’ for $188), our favourite thing about this spot is actually its unique monthly activations. You can pretty much be sure that every time you pop into this crowd favourite, something different is going on you can have fun with, whether it’s a heat challenge, the option to make your own pizza or innovative flavours to embrace the season (when was the last time you had tuna ceviche on a pizza?). If you’re out with your friends and you’re wondering where to go, The Pizza Project should be a leading choice.

Pricing: $90 to $130 for antipasti, $95 to $218 for pizza
Deals: For a weekend lunch, get a starter, 1/2 pizza and dessert for $218; on weekdays during lunch, get a starter, main and a dessert or drink for just $158

vesu pizza bar tsim sha tsui best pizza in hong kong

Vesu Pizza Bar — Stylish, sky-high pizzeria in Tsim Sha Tsui

The last pizzeria in Hong Kong to have made the Top 50 list, Vesu comes in at spot #44. While not the most authentic, these Neapolitan-inspired pizzas are especially creative and modern — The Ducky ($188) is made in collaboration with iconic Peking duck spot Hutong and is a Sassy favourite, while the signature Vulcan pizza ($148) is inverted and filled with spicy tomato sauce. Lean further into local flavours with the Char Siu pizza ($168) or Mala Chicken option ($148).

Note: Vesu Pizza Bar is currently temporarily closed for refurbishment, make sure to check its site before going to see if it has reopened (it is currently expected to reopen on 8 September)

Pricing: $88 to $158 for antipasti, $138 to $188 for pizza
Deals: Set lunch (daily, 11:30am to 3pm) includes two courses (starter and main) from $198 or three courses (with dessert) from $248
Sassy Tip: Do not sleep on the Pizzamisú for dessert!

Falcone pizza best pizza in hong kong neapolitan style

Falcone — Neo-Neapolitan pizza & pasta in Central and The Peak

Inspired by the chaotic streets of Naples, the eclectic and lively Falcone is a Hong Kong favourite. These pizzas expand on Neapolitan techniques, flavours and ingredients while keeping a modern edge — we especially love the spicy sausage Diavola ($268) and the classic Margherita ($258)! If you’re trying to start the weekend with some ‘za, head to The Peak for its breakfast menu from 10am to 12pm.

Pricing: $208 to $298 for antipasti, $238 to $268 for pizza
Sassy Tip: The Peak venue (during its soft launch) was not as good, but we’ve heard it’s since improved and has a fun Amore Hour from 3pm to 6pm on weekdays

La Camionietta pizza bar soho hong kong best pizza

La Camionetta — Reopened family-oriented pizzeria in Soho

The return of family-owned La Camionetta was one of the most exciting restaurant openings last year! Beyond a completely renovated interior, it also added new recipes and a special pizza — the Calabrese 2.0 ($208), made with spicy salami, jalapenos and hot honey. Our favourites include Camburrata ($238), topped with serrano ham and 150g of burrata, and Mortadella ($188) with pesto, ricotta, pistachio and lemon zest.

Pricing: $88 to $158 for antipasti, $128 to $238 for pizza
Deals: Three-course lunch set (small pizza, drink and dessert) from $118 (can add on antipasti to share)

pizza and a glass of red wine from Motorino in Soho or Wan Chai, Hong Kong, one of the best pizza places in HK

Motorino — Authentic Neapolitan pizza in Central & Wan Chai

Let us start by saying that as far as Editor Anna is concerned, Motorino has the best pizza in Hong Kong, bar none. Whether you’re watching the world go by on the Soho escalators or tucked away in its Wan Chai location, there is a warmth and intimacy to Motorino that can’t be beat! For a pizza that’ll never disappoint, get the classic Margherita ($218); its sauce to cheese ratio is perfect, the dough is light and fluffy and it uses real mozzarella and tomato. It also has a Speciali menu that is constantly changing, with delicious options like La Stella ($258) that is star-shaped and loaded with various cheeses, or the Vesuviana ($228) if you want a bit of heat with your meat.

Pricing: $108 to $188 for antipasti, $138 to $258 for pizza
Deals: Set lunch (weekdays, 12pm to 3pm) includes antipasti and pizza for $178 (add on tiramisu or coffee for $38, or wine for $68)

Sonny’s Slice Shop — “Dollar Slice” Pizza In Central

Another favourite of Team Sassy, Sonny’s is inspired by the street food stalls across New York and serves up authentic slices and loaded hot dogs right here in Hong Kong. The Soho eatery has nailed the aesthetics (it’s a very Instagrammable experience) and the taste, but let’s just say we’re not fully sold on the slice pricing — in New York, these are popular for being less than $15!

Pricing: $40 to $48 per slice, $178 to $308 for pizza
Sassy Tip: If you need to sober up on a Friday or Saturday night, Sonny’s is open late!

Cutting up a pizza at Vincenzo Capuano in Wan Chai with golden scissors as part of the contemporary Neapolitan pizza tradition with Nuvola dough

Vincenzo Capuano — Award-winning Neapolitan pizza opens in Lee Tung Avenue

Earlier this year, Chef Vincenzo Capuano opened his eponymous pizzeria in scenic Lee Tung Avenue and we quickly found out it was worth the hype. Ranked #13 in the 50 Top World Artisan Pizza Chains in 2025 and with over 40 restaurants scattered across the globe, this particular spot is a little more personal than most as it carries forward three generations of Neapolitan tradition. Vincenzo Capuano is known for its innovation, so make sure to check out the award-winning Provola e Pepe ($208) with its ‘cloud-like’ Nuvola dough, and remember to cut it up with the golden scissors to get truly in the spirit!

Pricing: $98 to $218 for antipasti,  $168 to $268 for pizza
Sassy Tip: While open until 11pm for dinner, the last order is taken at 9:45pm

Vincenzo Capuano, Shop G04-05, G/F, Lee Tung Avenue, 200 Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong, 2802 2802, vincezocapuano.hk

Mother Of Pizzas — Neapolitan-inspired and New York style pizza in Causeway Bay

This Causeway Bay pizzeria screams New York, from the true American sizing (13″ to 18″ pies) and ridiculous amount of toppings to the slightly sweet San Marzano tomato base — bonus, the 48-hour rising dough is perfectly soft and fluffy! While we love the very popular Summer of Love 1967 ($248 or $468), topped with capicolla, sausage, pineapple and hot honey, we’re not huge fans of the too on-the-nose decor and tend to opt for takeaway. For the vegetarians — we recommend you skip the Capresse Rocketeer and opt for the Queen Margherita ($198 or $398) instead!

Pricing: $128 to $168 for antipasti, $198 to $548 for pizza
Sassy Tip: If you’re sensitive at all to sound, try takeaway instead of dining in — the venue is constantly blasting rap music.

Pocofino — The only AVPN-certified pizzeria in Hong Kong

The Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN) doesn’t recognise just any old establishment, but Pocofino is one of them, making Chef Matteo Minante Hong Kong’s only AVPN-certified Neapolitan Pizza Master. His Philippines restaurant Minante Pizzeria is already on the Asia-Pacific Top 50 list, so we’re calling it now that this new Hong Kong spot is very likely to earn its place during the next awards season. Pocofino’s super popular Pizza Fritta (fried pizza) is what it’s best known for, and it comes in sweet and savoury flavours, some inspired by Hong Kong itself (think Egg Tart and Corned Beef & Mala).

Pricing: $28 to $78 for Pizza Fritta, from $38 for Pizzetta, from $128 for pizza

Pocofino, Shop G04-05, G/F, Lee Tung Avenue, 200 Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong, 2802 2802, vincezocapuano.hk

Dough Bros — Sourdough pizza across Hong Kong

No introduction necessary, really! Since its launch a few years ago, Dough Bros has taken Hong Kong by storm, and there’s now a location in just about every neighbourhood. It’s not the tastiest or most authentic pizza in the city, but we like the diverse options and prices here — each pizza comes in a small or regular size (the largest is 10″…) and the donuts are legendary. Plus, the owners are very community-minded and always ready to lend a helping hand during rough times.

Pricing:$78 per 7″ Lil Pan pizza, $128 to $188 for 10″ pizza
Deals: In-store, get two pizzas for $200, add on $88 to get a side and two drinks
Sassy Tip: Sign up for a Dough Bros membership to redeem a free pizza on your birthday month!
