beauty best facials hong kong asaya

Asaya, Rosewood Hong Kong

Rosewood Hong Kong launched its much-anticipated integrated urban wellness concept, Asaya, at the end of 2019 and it’s quickly made itself very popular. As with everything else in this ultra-luxury hotel, there is plenty of attention to detail throughout and that applies to its facials. Indeed, facials may never be the same again once you try its Super Seed Nutrient by Votary treatment, which takes around one hour and costs $2,580. It’s perfect for those who suffer from dry or sensitive skin because the 21 Super Seed Oil blend used (which contains chia, pumpkin and pomegranate seed oils) is incredibly gentle. The Votary range is all natural and loaded with active plant ingredients, which get to work repairing and protecting. Chilled rose quartz facial rollers are used to help reduce puffiness and promote drainage, and we defy you not to fall asleep during the blissful facial massage! We’ve also heard great reports about the facials it offers using the popular Sunday Riley range (from $2,580).

The Peninsula Spa

The minute you walk out of the lift on the 7th floor of The Peninsula you immediately feel at ease. Its spa is every bit as plush as you’d expect from this 5-star establishment, which has recently partnered with Margy’s Monte Carlo (a luxury skincare brand beloved by celebrities and the Monaco royals). Its creams, serums and masks feel deeply indulgent and, not only are they deeply hydrating, but they’re also packed full of anti-ageing ingredients. We recommend trying the 90-minute Stem Cell Revitalising Facial ($3,500). You’ll notice a visible difference in your skin luminosity and a reduction in puffiness immediately following the facial, thanks to the massage techniques employed throughout. This is a great one to have before a special occasion or when you want to splurge on yourself! Or, for a more wallet-friendly but equally indulgent option, try out the hydrating and balancing Skin Brightening Facial ($2,080).
