A good drink shouldn’t cost the world, and luckily for us, our city offers up numerous deals, meaning we don’t have to pay the big bucks come 5pm! Whether you live or work in the area, or are just out and about or trying out a new restaurant, Central is full of amazing bars, that are offering up equally amazing deals, so there’s always somewhere to stop in for a quick one. From rooftop bars to classic favourites, we’ve rounded up the best happy hours in the area.
This is one of our top al fresco spots in Hong Kong, and perfect for a quick one (or two!) after work. From Sunday to Friday between 5pm and 8pm, this social spot at PMQ offers drinkers selected wines and beers for $50 and classic cocktails for $68.

Everyone knows and loves Beef & Liberty for its great burgers, but its happy hour also tempts us in pretty frequently. Head to the LKF location from Tuesday to Saturday, between 6pm and 8pm, to enjoy drinks starting from just $33, with select cocktails and beers also available for $50.

Big Sur’s drinks menu is home to many craft beers, with 14 rotating taps of beers by local brewer, Young Master all on offer. During happy hour, you can head here and enjoy a drink for as little as $50. Guests can enjoy their drink in the spacious dining room, though we think it’s best enjoyed on the outside terrace, watching the world go by.

CÉ LA VI’s deal is not only good for the bank account, but also great for the eye – especially if you have guests in town. Its Sundowners Happy Hour runs on weekdays from 3pm to 9pm, with buy-one-get-one on a range of cocktails, wines, beers and spirits! Perfect for when you have visitors, head up to the rooftop bar, sip on a glass of bubbly and watch the sun go down.

With its Central location and super cheap prices, we frequent Chi Chi Cham time and time again for its happy hour deal. Between 3pm and 8pm, drinks here range between just $30 and $40 dollars, with beers, spirits, wine and prosecco all on offer. If you’re feeling peckish, make sure to order some of the restaurants izakaya-style small plates, with yakitori skewers, sashimi and more on offer.

This deal is ideal for cocktail fans. Every day of the week, this Asian inspired tapas joint offers a full menu of delicious classics at just $30 – yes that cheap! Sip on mojitos, martinis and cosmos and people watch as the sun sets on the busy streets of SoHo.

With its happy hour running from Monday to Saturday, and drinks starting at just $30, Fang Fang’s deal is hard to resist. And the best bit? Head here on Fridays and you will receive one complimentary cocktail, wine, beer or sake of your choice from the happy hour menu upon arrival! Free drink Fridays? Yep, it’s a thing at Fang Fang. Complimentary snacks are also available Monday to Thursday, and on Saturdays.
What’s more, if you’re looking to treat yourself at the end of the week, take advantage of the restaurant’s “Champagne Hour”. Taking place every Thursday to Sunday, from 9pm to 11pm, guests can enjoy free-flow Moët & Chandon Champagne, wines, spirits, beer, sake and selected cocktails for $398.

Sometimes, all you want on a hot day is a cool and refreshing beer. So, when you’re feeling it, look no further than Fini’s in SoHo. It has free-flow Peroni beer, alongside all you can eat chicken wings for just $108, every weekday from 5pm to 7pm.

Step back in time and enjoy a weekday drinks deal with Foxglove’s own “Mad Men Hour”. For $60 guests can enjoy a selection of drinks from Betty Draper’s personal collection, including wines, spirits and beers, or for $80, you can treat yourself to an expertly made table-side cocktail. Classic drinks fans will want to order Don’s Old Fashioned, or opt for Joan’s Vanilla Martini.

Havana is offering up fun deals from Monday to Wednesday at its LKF location. Head here on Monday nights, for two-for-one drinks, including mojitos, beers and wine. Fancy a go behind the bar? On Tuesday nights, you’ll be able to DIY your own cocktail (and get a free Havana hat!), or save yourself for Wednesday’s ladies night – with free-flow mojitos for just $88, from 8pm to 10pm.

Head to the hidden red door on Wyndham Street and enter into British salon, Hugger Mugger for its daily happy hour. Running from 5pm to 7pm, the amazing deal includes select wines, beers, spirits and classic cocktails (including Aperol spritz, whisky sour, margaritas and more) for just $50, along with select speciality cocktails for $60. We love the sound of the Punjab Sour, with Stolichnaya vodka, lime juice, mango puree, simple syrup, cream and basil leaf.

Those looking for a rooftop drinks deal need search no further than ICHU’s newly opened Terraza. The al fresco space serves up its El Cantinero menu on weekdays between 5pm and 8pm, featuring house wine, beers and prosecco for $40, and a selection of pisco sours for $70. Ladies, also be sure to head to the bar on Tuesdays, to enjoy free-flow wines, prosecco and cocktails between 8pm and 10pm, and buy-two-get-one drinks after 10pm.

Lily & Bloom has long been known for its great happy hours and its new offering is no exception! With prices starting at just $40 for beers, wines and spirits you can’t go wrong, and you can even sip on classic cocktails, such as Negronis, Cosmos and Moscow Mules for just $80.

There’s nothing better than having something delicious to munch on to go with your drink, and MEATS is giving us just that! Every day from 5pm to 7pm, enjoy drinks, along with a complimentary sandwich. Delve into a deluxe Hot Dog with your first drink, a Pastrami Sandwich with your second, and a Porchetta Sandwich with your third. Good things come in threes, right?

Found on Hollywood Road, this ever-buzzing bar offers up not only a selection of sakes, beers, wines and spirits (we love the huge G&Ts!) for just $50, but the happy hour menu also features a variety of Japanese style barbecue bites, such as grilled eggplant, chicken and pork belly skewers, a tempura bucket and deep fried Japanese dumplings.

This is one of our absolute favourites because it is right in the heart of SoHo – talk about convenience! It also offers one of the best deals in town, with all-you-can eat and drink prosecco, beer, wine and charcuterie for $189; it’s a steal. Although word to the wise, it’s easy to get carried away, so best to go post mid-week hump!

We know and love TokyoLima’s incredible cuisine, and we’re also huge fans of its “Izakaya Sessions” happy hour! Available everyday of the week, enjoy signature cocktails, which start at just $48, along with unbeatable bar bites (including Spicy Hamachi, “Ki-mo-chi” Fried Chicken!) for $48.
