Another month has come and gone, and we’re (somehow!) rapidly moving towards the warmer months. So, before the heat sets in, it’s time to get your calendars set for April. This month has plenty on offer, from the much-anticipated Rugby 7’s, to charity hikes and block parties, whilst not forgetting a brunch or two! Spring is well and truly with us, so it’s time to get outside and enjoy it, girls.

7th Hong Kong International Pillow Fight Day 2017 

No, this is not an April fool! Hong Kong’s 7th annual pillow fight is back for another year on Saturday, 1st April. Make sure to don your favourite pj’s, and grab some friends and your pillow to join in on the fun. It’s sure to be the perfect start to a jam-packed month!

Trips That Make An Impact: Conservation & Wildlife

How much do you know about conservation and how you can travel sustainably and responsibly? To learn more about the importance of protecting wildlife and the problems we face today, join National Geographic filmmaker Brad Bestelink, for an evening of discussion. Over an intimate dinner, Brad will reveal just what it takes to be a wildlife filmmaker and the importance of wildlife conservation, so it’s sure to be an educational evening for all! Dinner guests will also have the opportunity to stay after the meal for a free screening of Brad’s award-winning documentary, “Savage Kingdom”.

Hong Kong Rugby 7’s

The event of the year is here (like we need reminding!). We’re sure you have your tickets at the ready, so get set for a weekend to remember (or forget…) with the HKsevens Kick Off Concert. Empowerment Hike

Living in HK, we all love a good hike, but what if our go-to Saturday activity could also raise funds to help an amazing cause? Well, The Empowerment Hike is doing just that, by raising money to help empower migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong. With three different trails to choose from, depending on your ability, the hike will be led by mountaineer and domestic worker, Liza Avelino, with all proceeds going towards Enrich HK.

When: Sunday, 9 April, 10am – 4pm

The Easter Southside Market

We can hardly believe that Easter has come around so soon, but it’s almost time to relax and enjoy the long weekend, girls! For the perfect, chilled Easter Sunday, get down to The Easter Southside Market for an afternoon of food, live music and games. The full menu has just been announced, and The Butcher’s Club have done it again with the likes of veggie burgers, Greek-style lamb off the spit, barbecued steaks and more!
