Hong Kong’s Bar Leone is third in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026, while many Hongkongers’ favourite in Guangzhou is crowned Best Bar in Asia.
The prestigious Asia’s 50 Best Bars list for 2026 was revealed at the 11th annual awards ceremony, held in Macau on Tuesday, 28 July. 7 Hong Kong bars secured a spot on the top 50 list, with Bar Leone coming third in Asia and the best in Hong Kong. Some other local bars have retained places in the top 50 — such as Gokan at #22 and Argo at #37 — while Montana is a brand-new entrant at #47.
Meanwhile, Mius Hong Kong, tucked in Central’s Gough Street, has won the coveted SevenRooms Best Bar Design Award 2026 — as part of Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 — for its restrained simplicity, while Mius’ founder Shelley Tai won the coveted Altos Bartenders’ Bartender Award.
Also keeping the Hong Kong flag flying high is Cantonese cocktail salon Kinsman, which has won the Siete Misterios Best Cocktail Menu Award 2026 in Asia. Agave-focused bar Coa, which has been a fixture on Asia’s 50 Best Bars scene in the last few years, has come 24th and has received a special award — the Rémy Martin Legend of the List Award 2026 for Asia.
Also, additional three Hong Kong bars made it to the extended list of 51-100, scroll down for more details!

#37 Argo
Argo has been a consistent contender since entering the World’s 50 Best Bars list in 2022 and coming 11 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars list last year. Despite dropping to 37 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026, Argo’s drinks and mindset have consistently been driven by seasonality — think a floral martini, heightened by ingredients such as vermouth and floral tincture. With stellar drinks and stunning floor-to-ceiling windows, Argo is an experience worth sampling.
