What Sassy Wants: March

12 March, 2015

Spring is officially on the horizon, and this month sees a whole host of exciting events take over Hong Kong. From Art Basel to the Rugby Sevens, there’s plenty to keep us entertained (and I’m looking forward to a birthday bash too!). If you want to look and feel your best, I’ve picked out a couple of goodies that I’m genuinely lusting after this month… who knows, maybe I’ll be lucky enough to unwrap one or two of them as I munch on some birthday cake! Happy March!

1. KOTUR
You all know that we’re big fans of KOTUR clutches here at Sassy, which is why I couldn’t resist including this bright and bold Morley printed satin ‘Yes No’ clutch! The punchy pop-art style is perfect for all the upcoming art fairs, and it’s ideal when you want someone to get the hint…

Available at here for $4,050 or at their store in TST; KOTUR, G-13B, G/F., SOGO TST, Sheraton Hotel Shopping Centre, 20 Nathan Road Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, 3911 1710, www.koturltd.com

2. Pedder Red
Spring has sprung and we can’t wait to step into the new Pedder Red collection! I saw these super cute Floral Print Leather Skaters at the whimsical, secret garden themed Spring/Summer 2015 preview and fell in love. Pretty and practical? The dream combo!

Available at here for $1,090.

3. Dress in Print
After indulging in one too many dumplings in Taipei during Chinese New Year, I’m resolved to get back into a fitness regime. And what better motivation than a brand new workout outfit? I love the original, quirky designs used Dress In Print’s latest ‘Let’s Get Physical’ collection, especially this exotic floral print used in a sports bra and leggings.

Available here for $335.

4. Polkadot Boutique
We are huge fans of the Polkadot Boutique – our local one-stop fashion haven! If you’re looking for figure flattering clothing and funky accessories at affordable prices, this is the place to come. I’ve got my eye on these matte gold Aztec Drop Earrings from their new arrivals, which would add a bit of sophistication to any outfit.

Available here for $280 or at their store; Polkadot Boutique, 2/F, 29 Hollywood Road, Central, Hong Kong, 2521 0636.

5. Kabi Organics
I’m a big fan of natural beauty products, so I was excited to try this organic and luxurious bioactive face-mask from Kabi Organics. Made with peat, the dark cream may not look that appealing, but it definitely makes your skin feel deeply cleansed and fresh, especially if you’ve been out all day in the icky polluted air! My skin felt softer and looked clearer after using it, and I would definitely recommend anyone who’s into face masks to try it out.

Available here for $540.

6. Deliciously Ella
If you’re a fan of healthy eating but need a shot of inspiration, they I would seriously recommend taking a look at the ‘Deliciously Ella’ cookbook by Ella Woodward! Packed with nourishing food and delectable recipes, this is a must-have for any aspiring chefs. Stay tuned for a our interview with Ella coming soon!

Available in Hong Kong here for $160.

7. ghd
Most of my hair was chopped off my hair last November when we had our Sassy make-overs at Hollywood Hair, and although I loved the cut, I felt like I couldn’t style it easily. That’s where I was wrong! We recently had our hair styled at ghd and our fabulous stylist, Rob, used the ‘Classic Curler’ from the ghd curve collection to create gorgeous casual waves for my shorter ‘do. The innovative technology makes these curlers unbelievably easy to use – perfect if you can’t spend long on your hair but fancy a different look!

Available at any of these stores for $1,980 each.

8. Society6
As it is Hong Kong’s biggest week for art with Art Basel, Art Central, Chai Wan Mei and numerous exhibitions all happening at once, I thought I’d include an art print in this edition of What Sassy Wants! I’m a huge fan of the work from Jasmine Dowling who has collaborated with our former That Girl and DIY extraordinaire Geneva, but as she doesn’t ship to Hong Kong, I decided to look on Society6 for an alternative. This mini art print by Cat Coquillette would brighten up any office space, and at 5″3, I totally agree with the quote!

Available here for $140 ($18 USD).
