Biggie Smalls returns
Beef & Liberty is serving up a brand new meaty delight from now until Monday, 31 August: “The Notorious P.I.G.”! Apart from the awesome name, this burger packs a punch with numerous mouthwatering ingredients. Think Tasmanian grass-fed beef layered with tender braised pulled pork and smokey house BBQ sauce. Top it all off with fresh green apple slaw and spring onions – phew! Look out for a new burger from B&L every two months and equally delicious sides every two weeks… we’re talking deep fried mac & cheese sticks, quail scotch eggs and chilli cheese fries! Starting this Friday, Mahalo, the newest tiki bar in town this side of the harbour, is hosting Mahalo Nights. It’ll be an evening of funk, soul, R&B and hip-hop that will have you movin’ and groovin’ all night. Presented by The Moustache Petes and featuring DJs from as far afield as Tokyo, this is one party you don’t want to miss! We had such an awesome time at the bar’s opening party, we’re sure this will live up to expectations…

There’s also an all-you-can-drink beer promotion from 5-8.30pm in the evening. Time to tickle your funny bone!

On the beach
So what’s it like to do those sun salutations on the beach with the actual glorious sun beating down on your back? Find out at Sukigi Swim’s yoga sesh on the beach this weekend, led by Luke Graeber and Heather Kam. After all, there’s nothing better than the sound of the waves and the sight of the sea as you find your centre. Everyone who takes part will receive a discount voucher to use at Sukigi Swim and one lucky yogi will win a free bikini. Sounds alright by us!
