Usually the hardest part of the planning process is choosing a suitable venue, because you need to take into account the number of attendees and varying budgets. Located in the Tai Kwun Centre for Heritage and Arts, Madame Fu Grand Café Chinois is a great East meets Wests restaurant. It’s comprised of six different rooms, which each have their own personality and décor.Why not host your shower in the Whiskey Lounge (which holds a maximum of 27 people) or go girly and host your celebration in the Pink Room (which holds a maximum of 20 people). The current minimum spend for both rooms is $18,000 +10% service charge. Not only is this venue Insta-worthy, but the food is also amazing.

Corner Kitchen Café
Behind an unassuming door in Sheung Wan lies Corner Kitchen Café. If you don’t already know this place for its great cakes, you should really get acquainted. It has a private kitchen and dining area that is perfect for an intimate bridal shower, and can be decorated as much or as little as you like. If you gather between 10 and 22 people, you can hire it for $625 per person (which includes a meal catered by its chefs). Plus you can BYO anything that doesn’t require corkage.

Café Gray Deluxe
Looking for something chic and intimate? The private dining room in Café Gray Deluxe is a perfect option. It caters to parties of no more than 12 people, and allows you to wine and dine with stunning views of the harbour. There is a minimum spend for the room, based on the type of meal you choose. It is $3,000 for breakfast, $6,000 for lunch, $3,000 for afternoon tea, and $12,000 for dinner; not including the 10% service charge. We recommend the afternoon tea, to get a great choice of tasty treats!

Housed in one of Hong Kong’s iconic landmarks (which dates back to 1888), is The Pawn. This unique restaurant specialises in rustic and seasonal cooking. It has two private room options on the second floor. One holds a maximum of 22 guests and costs around $12,000 to $18,000, while the other holds a maximum of 40 guests maximum for around $25,000 to $30,000. If you and your party are up for drinks after eating, you can always head down to the Botanical Bar to continue your celebrations there.

Flawless
Who doesn’t love getting a manicure while sipping champagne? So why not host a bridal shower at Flawless! It offers several types of packages so you can choose from various combinations of nails, facials, and makeup offerings. Pricing varies based on the services selected, but it begins at $540 for an express manicure and pedicure, to $1,120 for a mini facial and basic pedicure. The best part? There’s free-flow bubbly for everyone!

11 Westside
Specialising in some of the best tacos in Hong Kong, 11 Westside is also known for its edgy décor and amazing hospitality. Depending on what you’re looking for, this hot spot has three venue options to choose from. For 25 people or less you can rent the Casual Room, for 30 to 60 people you can rent the Wilshire Room (which looks like a speakeasy with a pool table), or the Main Room can hold 40 to 60 people. The minimum spend for each venue option varies depending on the time of day and the day of the week, but does include food. It ranges from $5,000 to rent the Casual Room during the day on a Sunday to Thursday, up to $45,000 to rent the Main Room on a Friday or Saturday night.

Does your bride-to-be love French food? If so, Maison Es is a cute venue to host a bridal shower. To rent its lounge and terrace, which fits 10 to 20 people, the cost varies by day and time. It can be as low as $5,600 for an afternoon tea from 3pm to 5pm on any day from Monday to Thursday. Or it can go as high as $11,000 to rent for dinner from 6pm to 10:30pm on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holidays. These prices include food and beverage so, not only is it a great space, but a lot of the organisation is already taken care of!

The Nordic Summer Room in The Luxe Manor is a pretty little indoor flower garden which is a perfect, intimate bridal shower venue. This specific room seats six to ten people for lunch, afternoon tea, or dinner and the cost per person varies depending on the meal type. The lunch event package is $450, afternoon tea is $350, and dinner is $800. With all of the beautiful flowers everywhere, you definitely won’t need to worry about buying any extra decorations!

My Sweet Art
My Sweet Art is a bakery that specialises in cakes and cookies for every kind of event, and also has a separate venue specially for private parties. Its Private Tea Party Package includes reserving the space for 2.5 hours and hosting five to eight guests for $1,980. To include more than eight guests, there is a charge of $258 per person, up to a maximum of 30 guests. This basic fee includes various types of tea, decorations, and a Candy Corner table with four different types of candy and cakes. It even has a cotton candy machine!

If you’re looking for a fine dining celebration, check out Michelin-starred restaurant, Épure. Showcasing the finest seasonal ingredients from France, it’s a stunning option for an uncomplicated yet elegant bridal shower. For afternoon tea, you can choose to sit indoor or outdoor. For around 30 people, the minimum charge for indoor dining is $38,000 + 10% service charge, for the indoor café it is $25,000 + 10% service charge, and for outdoor dining or the bar area it is $18,000 + 10% service charge.

An evening bridal shower is often a much more intimate option, especially when it’s held in a venue like the private dining room at WHISK in The Mira hotel. WHISK has been meticulously designed with hanging baubles everywhere and is quite spacious. The seating area in the private room is set to accommodate a maximum of 16 people and can be rented from 6:30pm to 10:30pm for a minimum charge of $12,000 plus a 10% service charge.
