It’s almost the weekend and the weekend brings us the chance to enjoy one of our favourite meals – brunch! We’re suckers for a long champagne brunch – there’s nothing more decadent that sipping on good bubbly and enjoying good food over the course of a lazy afternoon. Here are five of our favourites…
Zuma
Levels 5 & 6, The Landmark, 15 Queen’s Road, Central – 3657 6388
This very chic Japanese hotspot combines an unlimited appetizer buffet with your choice of main course and dessert. Free-flowing champagne and sake adds to the general merriment. Come here to see and be seen.
Brunch Club
70 Peel Street, Central – 2526 8861
It’s best to come early or late this is very popular weekend brunch spot – it’s nearly impossible to get a table between 12pm and 2pm on the weekends. Though it’s not technically a champagne brunch, we love their healthy muesli and feisty coffee…perfect for that little pick-me-up the morning after the night before.
The Verandah
The Repulse Bay, 109 Repulse Bay Road – 2292 2822
If you’re looking for colonial charm, The Verandah hits the spot with a delicious Sunday food fest (though sadly, the price it doesn’t include alcohol). Worth making the trip southside for the grand location alone – the renovated Repulse Bay is very very cool.
The Parlour
2 Canton Rd, Hullett House, Tsim Sha Tsui – 3988 0000
The perfect alfresco spot – free flowing champagne, a seat on their outside terrace and a spectacular buffet make this a very lovely treat.
The Grill
11/F Grand Hyatt, 1 Harbour Road, Hong Kong – 2584 7722
An absolute favourite thanks to its gorgeous outdoor location – this barbeque buffet is perfect for non-drinkers too, as you can enjoy the buffet without or without alcohol for a more sober affair.
