That’s exactly what happened last week when we at Sassy were treated to an exclusive look at the latest trends Monica Vinader had in store. There were so many necklaces, pendants, earrings and more that some of us (make that all of us!) had a hard time deciding which ones to get – a few of us may have even come home with more than one piece…

While sipping on champagne and nibbling on canapés, we were presented with beautiful Havana friendship bracelets in rose gold vermeil ($1,050) – which come in a variety of colours– that we were able to have engraved in no time. Monica Vinader has an on-site engraving programme which allows you to choose what you want written on the pieces and where you’d like to put them. You can customise everything, from the font chosen and the size, to designing a doodle to adorn your new piece (you can even get a delicate HK skyline etched on!). Gorgeous.

The latest trend is to double up on jewellery pieces, and we “oohed” and “ahhed” over the rings you could pair up to make a whole new look. The other option is to wear several pendants together or layer necklaces to give a bold statement to your look. Our choices were endless (making a decision was torture!), as were the options available.

A few of us were struck by the incredible gemstones turned into pendants, rings and earrings. The beauty was that no two stones were alike, so when two of us coveted the same piece, we just grabbed the one we liked and got it. Sorted!

Each of the jewellery pieces are elegant and timeless, and we know we’ll be heading back there in no time to boost our look. We may just be a little addicted!
