The Best Holiday Fragrances In Hong Kong
Gucci, Bloom Eau De Parfum
Our Partnerships Manager Haley’s pick! Gucci Bloom is a rich white floral eau de parfum, created to unfold as its name suggests. Notes of natural tuberose and jasmine and south Indian Rangoon creeper for a powdery edge. Light and fresh, it’s an all-rounder.

Chloé, Nomade Eau de Parfum Naturelle
All my perfume is gifted (I know, I know) so I just cycle bottles depending on mood! My usual go-to is Byredo’s Young Rose Eau De Parfum but for winter and the holidays, I’ve switched to Chloé’s Nomade Naturelle. A vegan and 100 natural original eau de parfum, it’s rooted in Egyptian jasmine, with smooth date accord and a warming vanilla and sandalwood base. For something a little deeper, I like Aesop’s Marrakech Intense Eau De Parfum for Indian weddings and functions. Is anyone still reading? I’m dying to get my hands on the Jo Malone Jasmine Sambac & Marigold Cologne Intense. Please buy it for me.

Marc Jacobs, Daisy Ever So Fresh Eau De Parfum
From Marc Jacobs’ signature Daisy fragrance collection, the Ever So Fresh is a sweet scent with subtle floral undertones. Fresh and comforting, this perfume has notes of green tea blossom, matcha and a bright burst of pink pepper. Given that it’s an EDP, it’s long-lasting! And if you pick up the under 100ml one, you can easily travel with it. I also like Trussardi’s Donna Eau de Parfum, a strong and bold scent that lasts me the entire day. It’s not overly floral like many typical perfumes — instead, it’s slightly musky and works great as a summer or fall fragrance.

Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet Eau de Toilette
You didn’t hear it from me, but our girl Kiran (Events and Partnerships Manager) is bougie! You can expect a little Dior on her face (she swears by its foundation!) at any given moment so it’s no surprise her pick is the Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet. A classic fragrance (first launched in 1947!), the eau de toilette mixes Damascus rose and peony notes with a soft and light white musk accord. Don’t miss its sweet pink bottle finished with a bow. Kiran also likes Chanel’s Gabrielle.

Le Labo, Bigarade 18
Our CEO Emilie’s pick is so exclusive, you can’t buy it online. Part of Le Labo’s city-exclusive line — scents only available to purchase in the city they’re named after (and worldwide for one month only every year!) — Bigarade 18 pays tribute to the brand’s founder Eddie Roschi’s memories of Hong Kong, where he lived as a child! Fragrant lily and citrus tree with long-lasting notes of bergamot, neroli, musk and wood make for a breezy, light and bright scent.
And no one asked for another pick from this writer but Le Labo’s Mousse de Chene 30 (the Amsterdam city exclusive) is so universally loved in my house, we even took it to my nikah ceremony to spray around the room.

Jo Malone London, Red Roses Cologne
Our Partnerships Support Executive Ira loves Jo Malone, especially limited-edition fragrances. She’s currently using the Plum Blossom Cologne (“sensual and grown-up kind of sweet”) and also likes the Rose Blush Cologne. But for a perfume that’s, you know, actually available to purchase in Hong Kong, she pointed me towards the Red Roses Cologne: a voluptuous blend of seven of the world’s most exquisite roses with crushed violet leaves and hints of lemon. She recommends layering different fragrances depending on your mood!
