Romantic Places To Propose

You’ve figured out the “who” you want to spend the rest of your life with, now it’s time to pin down the “where”. Hong Kong boasts a number of venues with a view, beautiful beaches and picturesque parks. Here are a couple romantic places in Hong Kong to get you started.

Proposal Ideas: Tai O Lookout

Tai O Lookout

The glass-roofed Tai O Lookout, found on the first floor of the Tai O Heritage Hotel, boasts a breath-taking panoramic view of the South China Sea and is surrounded by gorgeous greenery. Its colonial decor and wood-carved furniture will transport you back in time, making it the perfect spot to reminisce your memories together over an exquisite meal, before you ask to spend the rest of your lives together.

Tai O Lookout, Shek Tsai Po Street, Tai O, Lantau Island, Hong Kong, 2985 8383, info@taioheritagehotel.com, www.taioheritagehotel.com

Victoria Peak Garden

Ride the tram up to the peak and take a scenic stroll to Victoria Peak Garden. Scattered around the lush green lawn are charming pagodas, gazebos and delightful Victorian features like sundials. You couldn’t ask for a better spot to set up a romantic afternoon picnic. When it gets dark, you can watch the city light up 300 metres above the Victoria Harbour.

Editor’s Note: The Peak Tram is temporarily suspended for around six months from Wednesday, 28 June, 2021. You can alternatively take bus X15 or 15 from the Central Ferry Piers, bus 1 from the Hong Kong Station Public Transport Interchange, or a taxi. Or if you’re up for it, you can hike up to the Peak and enjoy some beautiful views along the way.

The Peak Garden, Mount Austin Road, The Peak, Hong Kong

Proposal Planners

Between hiding the ring, preparing your speech, hiring a photographer and choosing the perfect venue, there’s a long list of tasks to be taken care of. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a helping hand? Leave it up to the professionals to take the stress out of the occasion, so that you can focus all your attention on the person that matters the most.

Proposal Ideas: NICOLE PLEASE

After filling out a questionnaire about you and your fiancée-to-be, NICOLE PLEASE will present a number of proposal ideas to choose from based on your answers. After reviewing the proposal ideas together, you can decide if you prefer to execute everything yourself or hand it over to NICOLE PLEASE (we like this second option!).
