NATURA BISSÉ – The 3D Collagen Shock Facial
I’ve been going to Joyce at Bliss Spa for years and, while I usually go for the ‘Youth As You Know It’ facial, the new collagen-promoting treatment left me curious enough to switch up my usual routine. The treatment lifts and contours your face thanks to three types of collagen that act on the different layers of the skin to strengthen its structure from within. My favourite part is the incredible face massage that improves circulation and lymphatic drainage.

Phyto Stem Cell Facial
The decadent treatments at Four Seasons Spa always leave me on cloud nine and this high-tech collagen facial promises to do the same for you. This needle-free facial created by Epicuren uses lactic acid, serums, collagen and amino acids to prep the skin before a CACI machine lifts and tones facial muscles and the neck area. A conductive silver ion-mask is placed on the face to expel free radicals and reduce inflammation while reflexology points are activated to stimulate circulation and relax muscle tension.

How much: 90 minutes Monday – Thursday $4,600, 90 minutes Friday – Sunday $5,150, 120 minutes Monday – Thursday $6,400, 120 minutes Friday – Sunday  $7,150

Microneedling/Mesotherapy/Hydro-Injection
Dr. Winnie Mui is my go-to for anti-ageing aesthetic treatment trends around the world. She told me about microneedling a few months before Kim Kardashian posted a snap trying out the now famous ‘vampire’ facial. The treatment hails from South Korea and involves the delivery of unique formulations of hyaluronic acid, placental serum with stem cells, Botox, vitamins and amino acids from Korea, Japan, the US and Spain via a single use, multiple needle injection system. The procedure stimulates collagen production and achieves tighter, brighter skin and a more dewy and youthful complexion. Considering the needle element of this procedure I prefer a licensed Medical Doctor like Dr. Mui to perform the treatment.

How much: From $6,000 per treatment

High Intensive Focused Ultrasound Facial
I did a few HIFU treatments before my wedding two years ago and saw my skin become (slightly) noticeably tighter and firmer after each treatment. I like it because it’s the only non-invasive FDA approved treatment that improves wrinkles on the face and neck area. It uses ultrasound to promote collagen production in the face and safely lift and tighten the skin beyond the dermis and foremost layers. There’s zero downtime, and you can see the results gradually over a number of months.

How much: From $3,800 for a neck treatment

Perfect Ten Diamond
This facial focuses on the science of Skin Age Biomarkers and specific massage techniques to improve skin texture, facial contours and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. An LED mask is used to boost collagen production and collagen-promoting Natura Bisse products are activated using a 24K gold pulse bar.

How much: Monday – Thursday $2,850, Friday – Sunday and Public Holidays $3,050

Nurse Jamie is the LA-based dermatologist that has a client list that reads like the credits of a Hollywood blockbuster. Her skincare tools are pretty and practical like this Beauty Stamp that makes micro-impressions along the top dermal layer to improve texture and firmness. NeoCell Super Collagen + C Type 1 and 3
With so many collagen supplements on the market, you’ll want to make sure you’re buying the best. NeoCell Collagen’s 2014 study showed that its products increase skin hydration an average of 21%, so it’s the main reason why I opt for these.
