The Best New Beauty Buys In June
Benefit’s The WANDERful World Blush Collection
Building off its existing cult-favourite shade Dandelion, Benefit has launched an entire Box O’ Powder blush range with 11 stunning new shades! The WANDERful World collection features 12 fit-for-cheek tones and hues including sweet pinks, bright peaches, vibrant corals, rich berries and super flattering neutrals, in satin, natural-matte and soft shimmer finishes. We can’t get enough of the packaging, which is now smaller, slimmer and has removed plastic pieces to eliminate excess waste. And the illustrations are so fun — making these powder blushers that much more enticing to reach for.
Christian Louboutin Beauty’s Teint Fétiche Le Cushion
From Christian Louboutin Beauty, this diamond-powder infused illuminating cushion foundation is packaged up in the compact of our dreams, an embellished red felt jewellery case with a golden coat of arms. The luxury foundation is light, fluid and ultra-smooth and promises a satiny, healthy-looking glow.
Fenty Skin’s Cookies N Clean Whipped Clay Detox Face Mask
This cleverly-named wash off face mask looks good enough to eat! The Fenty Skin Cookies N Clean features a detoxing clay-based formula balanced with skincare goodies like emollient shea butter and hydrating humectants glycerin and panthenol to replenish the skin. You have to hand it to Rihanna, it really does look like a delicious tub of cookies and cream.
Hourglass’ Voyeur Waterproof Gel Eyeliner
This waterproof gel eyeliner from Hourglass promises to glide on effortlessly and deliver up to 12 hours of wear without smudging, bleeding or fading! A bold claim, but its creamy formula is promising and the deep hues (true brown, matte black, bronze metallic, chestnut, emerald green) look perfect for that striking, statement eye.
Hourglass’ Phantom Volumizing Glossy Balm
An innovative 3-in-1, this lippie has the hydration of a balm, the high-shine finish of a gloss, and plumps for a fuller-looking pout. We love that it leaves your lips soft and smooth without any stickiness or tackiness and the actually-suitable-for-deeper-skin-tone shades (that are super flattering on everyone!).
Laura Mercier’s Tinted Moisturizer Blush
Inspired by its well-loved tinted moisturiser, Laura Mercier’s cream-liquid blush offering is a beautiful tube of soft, muted cheek colour that promises to be long-lasting and fresh-looking. The Tinted Moisturizer Blush is available in 14 natural shades (think beiges, berries, corals and more) in three finishes.

NARS Summer Unrated Collection
Newly launched, this special summer collection from NARS promises to marry two of the brand’s signature shades: the cult favourite peach-t0-coral pink with golden Orgasm and the diffused brown with golden Laguna. It includes some beautiful blush and bronzer duos ($410) with the beforementioned shades as well as some deeper hues (we love the warm deep red brown Cyprus paired with plum Dominate!), a special blush duo ($410), a stunning 16-pan eyeshadow palette ($590) with mattes, shimmers and glitters, and an Orgasm lip mask ($250) and body oil ($560).
Parakito Mosquito Protection
Mosquito protection experts Parakito use exclusively plant-based actives and no alcohol or DEET. It’s truly perfect for anyone and everyone, repelling insects and the diseases they carry as well as the uncomfortable sensation and aftermath of being bitten. Products include water and sweat-resistant sprays and roll-ons, for-sensitive-skin formulas, and a new moisturising dry oil. We also like the oil diffusion wristbands that keep pests away, and the relief gels and creams to soothe and reduce any itchiness.

The Best New Beauty Buys In May
Aesop stores are already stunning multi-sensory experiences, so we couldn’t be more thrilled with its range of complex and layered fragrances. While not entirely new (Marrakech Intense was first launched in 2014, Hywl debuted in 2017 and Rozu rolled out in 2021), now really is the perfect time to visit all the scents and take them in. The brand doesn’t attach gender or even a time of year to its perfumes, so instead take notice of the notes and ingredients in each EDP to understand the mood — like clove, sandalwood and cardamom in Marrakech and yuzu and basil in Tacit. Fresh or floral, woody or spiced, you’re bound to find a fragrance you’ll adore.
Armani Beauty’s Newly Formulated Power Fabric Foundation
If there’s one makeup item to actually splurge on, it has to be foundation. After all, a flawless base is key to everything else on your face sitting and wearing well throughout the day. You want something that matches your skin tone perfectly and gives you your best looking complexion. That’s why the Power Fabric Foundation from Armani Beauty is on our wishlist, newly formulated to be weightless while providing longer-lasting high coverage that you just can’t beat.
BTS x Amorepacific Lip Sleeping Mask in Gummy Bear
Koreauty fans and Kpop stans unite! We love Laneige’s cult favourite lip sleeping mask — easy to use both as an on-the-go lip balm and also as a mask applied for overnight nourishment. This special BTS edition channels the boy band’s signature colour and contains pomegranate, grape, and raspberry extracts for smoothening and plumping.
Byredo’s Flora Kalahari 18 Colour Palette
Stockholm-based Byredo is best known for its chic black and white bottles of luxurious perfume but don’t let that fact have you underestimate the quality and wear of its designer-like makeup range. The newest addition is the limited-edition Flora Kalahari 18 Colour Palette, situating us in an “otherwordly desertscape” with an earth-toned colour story made up of shimmering coppers, cool-toned neutrals, warm metallics and dazzling duo-chromes.
Byredo’s Flora Kalahari 18 Colour Palette, available to buy online at Harrods for $658
Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk Collection
We can’t get enough of Pillow Talk — Charlotte Tilbury’s bestselling soft-pink beige shade. The dreamy hue-centred collection has expanded, with four brand new items: a luxurious eyeshadow quad with muted pinks, berry tones and a shimmery brown; a berry-brown mascara; and two stunning powder highlighters (one light and cool, one deeper and warmer). And the glorious liquid-cream highlighter wands and lip and cheek balms are back in stock. We’ve already added the Matte Revolution lipstick in Pillow Talk Medium ($270) to cart!
Clarins’ Lip Comfort Oil
Clarins’ bestselling tinted lip oil treatment has a fresh new look, with eight flattering shades in an ultra-glossy finish and an upgraded plant oil formula. Expect 24-hour hydration and comfort, a rich but lightweight texture and a high-shine look to the lips. We have our eyes on the deliciously-named strawberry and chocolate shades.
RARE SkinFuel’s Bare Balm
From homegrown skincare brand RARE SkinFuel, this all-purpose balm stick is enriched with sweet almond oil and shea butter to deliver a natural, luminous glow to the skin. The Bare Balm is available in three blendable and buildable shades: a nude-undertone apricot, a cool-undertone pink raspberry and a warm-undertone copper. Use on the cheeks and lips for the perfect monochromatic look.
shu uemura’s Spring/Summer 2022 Collection
It’s hard to pick just one item from shu uemura spring/summer collection, which comprises two mini eyeshadow palettes, two satin lipsticks (a muted red and a warm brown), two cream liquid lipstick (a taupe nude and a warm beige), a cleansing oil and a foundation brush. Our pick is the lilac rebel eye palette ($460), with browns, mauves and a stunning lavender in matte, pearlescent shimmer and iridescent glitter finishes.
