Christian Louboutin Capsule Collection – Celebrating 20 years!

You have to give it to the man, after 20 fabulous years Mr. Louboutin has not lost one bit of his magic touch. Year after year he somehow manages to create insanely cool, beautiful, creative and totally unique shoes that end up on many a girls lust list (myself included). Loubiworld is a place I want to spend many hours in. Being surrounded by his shoes on a regular basis just seems like a divine way to live your life, doesn’t it?

To celebrate 20 years this shoe guru has launched a capsule collection inspired by 20 of his most loved shoes. The collection has just arrived in stores and knowing how shoe crazed this town is we don’t expect them to last very long. So, the moral of the story is this. If any part of you wants to own a little piece of fashion history get your booty over to one of their store locations and snag yourself a new pair of red soles for your shoe collection. I have my eye on The Boris Dore pair (the black ones with the gold here in the second row below).

Of course, the famous Pensee (the shoe that inspired the red sole) is included in the mix as well as the Highness Tina to represent Christian’s love of dancers. I love that Christian drew a sketch for each shoe in the collection. How ahmazing would it be to have a framed copy of each one for a walk in closet area. Perfect gift idea if you ask me!

L-O-V-E is all I got to say. I so want to hang this sketch in my office…
