Umami Concepts and The Rose Petal Cakery have collaborated to bring us a fun baking competition this October! You may have read about Battle of the Bakers here so you’ll know it’s perfect for avid chefs.

The competition is in full swing, so for all you lovers of baked goods we’ve bagged five pairs of tickets as taste testers for this week’s round. Yep, if you’re a foodie and want to check out the competition, enter our giveaway here or by clicking on the button below. You’ll get to taste what’s on offer from the 16 contestants and decide who stays and who goes… it’s all down to your taste buds! Winners of our ticket giveaway will be emailed by 5pm today. Craft beerWe’re on a boat
While the weather is still awesome, it only makes sense to take full advantage and head out on a boat, The Lonely Island-style. One of our fave junk companies, Lazydays is hosting a day of sun, sea, sand and the best beers in HK on the very first Craft Beer Flotilla. You’ll be able to test your (beer) taste buds with the different craft beers available (free-flow too!). And nothing goes better with beer than a BBQ! This sounds like something we definitely don’t want to miss out on.

Foodies unite! The Brooklyn Edition of Made in HK hits PMQ this weekend. Organised by Green Queen (one of our top 5 green blogs, check out a few others here!), the event is dedicated to some of our favourite artisan food vendors. There’ll be popcorn from Sote, coffee from Black Shot Coffee, yummy Japanese goodies from Sugo Sushi, ice pops from Lola’s Ice Pops, sandwiches from Bread & Beast and more. We’re positively salivating at the thought…
