Top Tables to Gorge on Turkey for Thanksgiving

16 November, 2015

The best turkey dinner options for 2015

When I decided to move to Hong Kong, I confess the thought of missing a home-cooked Thanksgiving meal brought upon an acute sense of sadness. Thanksgiving for us Americans — and Canadians, too! — is probably the highest calorie-consuming day of the year. But this gravy-drenched holiday is about a lot more than just food. Thanksgiving is about coming together with friends and foe—I mean, family, to celebrate all we have to be thankful for. This year, I am thankful for all the Thanksgiving dinner options Hong Kong has to offer.

We all have a lot to be thankful for beyond gravy and giblets, so whether or not you hail from North America, you too can gobble up succulent slices of turkey, moist bites of stuffing, heaps of mashed potatoes and, of course, a slice (or two) of pie.

A Take-Home Feast with Feast

Drawing Room Concepts is claiming they have the juiciest turkey in town, so we’re definitely interested. Their secret is brining in the turkey in apple cider overnight before cooking it…okay, twist my arm! I’ll have it. Besides a juicy turkey, Feast’s full Thanksgiving menu also includes two options for potatoes and pies — choosing which one will probably be a harder decision than whether or not to go back for thirds. To cover it all off, the turkey comes with a bourbon cider gravy. You had me at hello. As an added bonus, Feast partnered with Cuvees who have suggested wine pairings that can be included in your order. Bottoms up!
