All Day and a Night

Now Airing
While serving life in prison, Jahkor – played by Ashton Sanders (Moonlight) – looks back on the people, circumstances and system that led him to commit homicide. Written and directed by Joe Robert Cole (one of the Black Panther screenwriters), this film jumps between three different periods of the young convict’s life as he embarks on a belated journey of self-discovery.

Set in the vibrant multicultural neighbourhoods of modern-day Paris, The Eddy tells the story of the owner of a struggling jazz club, its house band and the dangers they face in the chaotic city that surrounds them. Directed by Oscar-winning director Damien Chazelle (La La Land, Whiplash) and with original music written by Glen Ballard (Jagged Little Pill) and prolific composer Randy Kerber, this musical drama miniseries promises a banging soundtrack.
