The Great Pizza Bake Off

Back for its second edition, The Great Pizza Bake Off at Mercato has been running since the end of January, but now it’s Sassy’s turn! Beginning Tuesday, 13 March head to Mercato in California Tower to sample our very own pizza pie creation. “The Morning After The Night Before Pizza” features a white sauce base, topped with mozzarella and fontina cheese, fresh spinach, a poached egg, and prosciutto, before being drizzled with hollandaise sauce (plus some extra on the side, because you can never have too much hollandaise!). We will be going head to head against the boys from Co Thanh, who’s pizza creation is topped off with Vietnamese chili tomato sauce, five spiced roast chicken, spring onions and fries shallots. Both sound delicious, but its up to you to decide who comes out on top!
