Set to open its doors on Gough Street in July, BEDU is a cosy Middle Eastern restaurant & bar, brought to us by brother and sister duo Alexis & Laura Offe (of Brazilian-Japanese street food restaurant, Uma Nota). Menu items will include Beetroot and Mint Labneh accompanied by Freshly Baked Flatbread, Rack of lamb with Garlic Labneh and Za’atar Oil and a Dark chocolate and Cranberry Clafoutis with Spiced Yoghurt, along with a refreshing range of cocktails to wash it all down. Salt & Barrel

Slated to open any day now, new Taproom and Kebaberie, Salt & Barrel, is the newest brainchild from Executive Chef, Taran Chadha (of Blacksalt), and is set to collaborate with local breweries, Black Kite and Kowloon Bay, as well as The Tramline Liquor Co. Aiming to re-introduce kebabs to the 852, with a unique blend of spice marinades and modern adaptation of age-old cooking techniques, along with offering 15 taps of rotating local and imported craft beers and other craft beverages, we cannot wait to try out what we’re hoping is going to be our favourite new local.

New Locations

Little Bao

Lovers of May Chow’s Little Bao, it’s time to get excited, as a new location is opening in Causeway Bay! Details are yet to be announced, but if you happen to be in the Fashion Walk area, you’ll be able to find the restaurant’s iconic logo plastered across boards outside the location (which you can check out on its Insta page). The open date is still under wraps, but from the looks of things, the new location appears to be a little bigger than the small space in SoHo. We’re hoping it opens soon, so that we can get our hands on some more pork belly baos, truffle fries and short-rib dumplings!

Pici

Pasta fans, rejoice! After Pici’s second location in SoHo opening at the end of last year, Pirata Group is adding a third location to the roster in TST! So, whether you’re in Wan Chai, Soho or Tsim Sha Tsui, you’ll be able to get your hands on its home-made Italian favourites. The new location is slated to open in August, but keep an eye out for more info coming soon!
