Mimosas to Martinis: Where to Drink in Hong Kong this May

Cheers to these drink specials in the 852!

The weather’s getting steamy in the city, so there’s no better time to get out there and enjoy some of the best beach bars that the 852 has to offer. Yes, we’re still mourning the soon-to-be loss of Mavericks’ from Pui O beach (where will we get our post-hike beers now), but that just means we’ll have to find new places to pitch up for the weekend! In between sipping on Aperol Spritz in the sun, we’ve found a few new drinks specials and happy hour deals – sure to come in handy for the end of May public holiday. Join us?

If you’re the indecisive type and are never sure what to order, you’ll love the sound of aqua’s new Personality Pours! The off-menu cocktail concept is set to shake up the Hong Kong cocktail scene, asking bar-goers to tap into Facebook to find their own perfect Personality Pour by answering eight simple questions. Available from now until the end of August, the menu features eight hand-crafted cocktails, including the gin-based Visionary for strong minded individuals, the crimson-coloured Trendsetter for the pack-leaders out there and The Rebel, just the thing for unpredictable types.
