Big Up Those Brows With Lyla Lash

Wake up day after day with the definition you’ve always dreamed of!

Tucked away in the heart of Central, Lyla Lash is a cosy, chic lash bar offering a variety of affordable eyebrow and eyelash services using high quality products from Japan. Its staff are extremely experienced and attentive to detail, ensuring every client walks out fully satisfied with their experience.

One of its most popular treatments is the microblading service ($3,500), which is a semi-permanent tattooing technique for the eyebrows. Fine hair strokes are drawn onto the skin using a microblade to fill in any gaps and thicken your eyebrows. The therapist will carefully assess and match the colour of the pigment to your natural hair, whilst discussing your desired style. The whole procedure is relatively painless (a numbing cream is used) and takes around two hours, while the results last between 12 to 18 months.

We sent a member of Team Sassy to try it out and this was the verdict:
“I had a wonderful experience and walked out feeling like my face looked a lot more symmetrical. The skin around your eyebrows appears slightly red and swollen immediately afterwards, but quickly subsides within 24 hours to reveal perfect brows. The initial pigment fades and “flakes” off during the first week as part of the recovery process. But rest assured your eyebrows will darken again, revealing the permanent, desired shade and shape after two weeks. Microblading helps to shorten your morning makeup routine (who doesn’t love hitting that snooze button?) and keeps your eyebrows in check all day, even during your sweatiest HIIT class. This is a treatment I would definitely do again!”
