10 August, 2017
mimosas to martinis aberdeen street social

Cheers to these drink specials in the 852!

August is in full-flow, and with the sun shining we’re looking for the perfect spots for a summery drink (or three!). For post-work happy hours, you’ll find us sipping away at Jinjuu, El Loco Gringo, or Cicada. And for outdoor drinks over the weekend, our August favourites are Red Sugar, Picada and Havana.

Or (for when we’re not staying in with our favourite bottle of wine from U-Select!), here’s a look at some of the new specials to check out this month:

Fang Fang

One of our new favourite restaurants is making us even happier these days! We’re especially excited about mid-week, as on Tuesdays it will have Soju Carafes for $50, on Wednesdays it will have Sake Carafes for $50, and on Thursdays, two Singapore Slings will be just $75! And tonight, check out the preview of “Sling Thursdays.”From 6pm to 9pm, Bar Manager Gagan Gurung will whip up some drinks with Rémy Cointreau Brand Ambassador and award-winning mixologist, Jay Khan. You might want to take tomorrow off.

townhouse - lkf ladies night wednesday

Townhouse

Located right in the heart of LKF, Townhouse is offering us a Ladies Night we can’t refuse. The newly launched “Summer Petal Cocktail Series” features four different Instagram-worthy cocktails. We love the sound of Butterfly Garden, a vibrant purple concoction with London dry gin, fresh lemon and elderflower syrup. For a little bubbly, opt for the Angel Rose Bellini, a deep pink drink paired with fragrant peach puree and topped with chilled prosecco. These cocktails go hand-in-hand with the “Signature Dessert Platter”, only available on Ladies Night (from 9pm every Wednesday) for $150. Oh, and Ladies Night also means that girls get one of these drinks free!
