Caprice — Four Seasons bar unveils ‘Illusion’ menu
No one does elevated cocktails quite like Caprice Bar, but its new Illusion menu takes things up a notch. Nine cocktails masquerade as legendary bottles (white Burgundy, First Growth Bordeaux, Sauternes), but they’re built almost entirely without the wine itself, using tricks like butter-fat-washed vodka, olive tonic, mango-infused gin and even beetroot, mimicking a Pinot’s forest-floor vibe. Some arrive in huge wine bottles with fake labels, poured tableside with sommelier flair.
