The Envoy
We’re big fans of this stylish bar located in The Pottinger Hotel. Not only is the location centrally located, making it perfect for a couple of cocktails before you hit the town, but it’s even got a terrace so you can sip under the stars. The creative drinks are beautifully presented (totally Insta-worthy!) and use unique ingredients like Pandan Vodka – we can’t wait to check out the Christmas cocktails! Djboutii
If you’re looking for a chilled out hidden spot in Wan Chai, Djboutii should be first on your list. Perfect for after work drinks, this little bar is tucked away down an alley and promises an atmospheric, relaxed vibe that will have you unwinding in no time. We loved sipping on the tea-infused cocktails at this semi al fresco, and the freshly stone baked organic Za’taar flatbread was ideal as a pre-dinner snack! The perfect spot if you’re looking for somewhere laid-back… check out our review of Djboutii here.

This sophisticated bar on Hollywood Road is the perfect place to get the party started. The outdoor space is definitely a highlight, and it’s a great place to socialise with the friendly, welcoming vibe. The little decor details create a cosy environment that you could hang out in all night and the handcrafted cocktails along with the veggie canapes definitely don’t go amiss… Topiary is definitely one to try out if you haven’t already! The Pontiac
Oh, The Pontiac. We genuinely think there’s no other bar like this in Hong Kong. With a rough and retro rock ‘n’ roll vibe, The Pontiac authenticity that’s seriously cool. With an all female-staff, this bar emanates girl power and keeps it real with strong drinks, plenty of shots and a hell of a lot of fun. This is where you need to go if you want a seriously wild night out with your girlfriends… trust us, you won’t regret it. Check out our mention of The Pontiac in our Food News Flash here.
