Hong Kong’s first festival of spirits and shakers is coming next month!
Mark your diaries, girls! DOWNTOWN COCKTAILS is setting us up for a weekend in September you won’t want to miss!
Running 8 through 10 September, more than 15 downtown bars in the 852 are getting together to bring their unique style (and drinks!) to Chater Garden for the first festival of its kind, DOWNTOWN COCKTAILS. We’re talking some of Sassy’s favourite watering holes – such as Honi Honi, Picada, Fang Fang, The Pawn, The Crown & Anchor British Drinks Experience, The Optimist, Tokyolima, Pirata, Potato Head, Winstons Coffee Bar, Brickhouse, and VAULT, to name a few – will be serving up drinks and showing off their creative flair!
If that’s not exciting enough for you (how could it not be?), master bartenders will be holding cocktail making classes, and there will even be a competition to see which bartender can make the best drink. You, the audience members, will decide!
To sweeten the party even more (as if you need it!), several bands will be performing jazz, disco, soul and funk music live, and on Sunday, Potato Head’s DJ will be spinning his own beats!
And because we know you’ll be dancing up a storm, there will be ice-cold refreshing alcoholic ice pops on hand to cool you down, distributed by Nice Pops. Let the party continue!
There will be something for everyone, so while there, be sure to check out the themed gold tattoos by Anoosh tattoos, the glittered makeup by Mopsamsterdam, and the special photography exhibit as well!
