Christmas Is Coming To Pacific Place

Get ready for some festive cheer in the heart of Admiralty!

Christmas is one of the most hotly anticipated times of the year and there’s nowhere better to get into the festive spirit than at Pacific Place. It pulls out all the stops with its amazing decorations year after year, and 2019 is no exception.

Pacific Place has one wish for us this holiday season and that’s that we all spend Christmas together. So, it’s turning into one giant Christmas card factory, with heartwarming scenes recreated all over the mall (Christmas is about family and love after all!).

You’ll be able to get all your shopping done under one roof – no matter how long your list! Christmas may be all about giving, but that doesn’t mean you can’t treat yourself while you’re at it (the gift sets from Sweet World and Diptyque are hard resist). Plus, if you’re  a member of the centre’s “above” loyalty programme, you’ll be able to earn yourself up to triple bonus points. While you browse, the big kid in you will love catching a glimpse of some much-loved fairytale characters (think Little Red Riding Hood, Grandma and Mr. Wolf) getting ready for Christmas together.

If, like many of us, you’re trying to go down the handmade route with this year’s presents, why not try out one of Pacific Place’s coveted workshops with some friends? You can make a mechanical Christmas card or a wooden wreath. Or test your writing skills with Diptyque’s calligraphy workshop (and pick up a complimentary gift for your efforts). The best part is that all proceeds from these bookings will be donated to the Operation Santa Claus charity, so you’ll also be bringing some warmth and Christmas cheer to those in need.

Of course there’s no show without Punch or, in this case, the big man in red himself. But fear not, Santa is most certainly coming to town. So pop by his Pacific Place grotto from Sunday, 1 to Wednesday, 25 December. You’ll get a sweet treat and a souvenir photo to take home. Just don’t forget to book your tickets online (tickets cost $90 for dates between Sunday, 1 to Wednesday, 11 December, or $120 for tickets from Thursday, 12 to Wednesday, 25 December with all proceeds going to Operation Santa Claus); the man of the moment is hugely popular after all!
