Urban Outfitters: I’ve loved this brand since I discovered it at University in the U.K. I could spend hours browsing the quirky clothes and fun gifts, so I was super excited to hear that they’d recently opened up a store at Lab Concept in Hong Kong! I’m obsessed with a black and white floral playsuit that I bought from Urban Outfitters, which I wear pretty much every week as it’s so comfortable and flattering. 

Aesop at Facesss: There’s something so cool about Aesop – the packaging is simple but effortlessly chic and the products smell absolutely divine. I use the Resurrection Aromatique Hand Cream every night which has a sweet scent of geranium and is wonderfully hydrating!

TOPSHOP: TOPSHOP is my go-to brand for finding affordable yet stylish pieces for everyday wear in Hong Kong. Always on-trend, their pieces are great for layering, so you can style the same white tank or flowery skirt five different ways throughout the week without anyone realising you’re recycling your closet!

American Apparel: American Apparel is the ultimate brand for sourcing basics. They offer a wide range of colours in basic tees, shorts, cover-ups and jeans for you to mix and match to your heart’s content, and their prices are always affordable. I love how it’s a one-stop shop, and with summer approaching, it’s the perfect place to pick up a few light summer tanks and stylish sandals for junk season.

The Body Shop: My bathroom and dresser may as well be a branch of The Body Shop itself! From the bars of scented soap to the Vitamin E primer and the tube of Lip Scruff, this is my go-to store for a range of different bath and skincare products. It helps that there are so many branches of The Body Shop around the 852, convenient for me to pop in and re-stock any time! I love the fact that they don’t test any of the products on animals, too.

Origins: I swear by so many of these products, too. Modern Friction for the Body is the best body scrub I’ve ever used and the Checks and Balances face wash is light, fragrant and great for Hong Kong’s sticky weather. With products to suit all different types of skin, from problem to oily to dry, I love the products from Origins!

NARS: My NARS lipstick never leaves my lips… literally! It has seriously-strong staying power and I never have to touch it up when I’m out and about. I love the variety of shades in nude and rose for a natural look or a ruby red hue for a bit more va-va-voom. I always have a statement shade in my bag in case I need to look a little bit more alive too.

Cheap Monday: My favourite clothes need to bend around my life and Cheap Monday jeans have the best stretch factor ever. I’ve been wearing them for seven years now in black and navy in winter and in lighter shades for summer. The cut is always consistent and the skinny jeans work well during the day with a shirt for work, or in the evening with heels and a strappy top.

Benefit: Right from the packaging to the product – is there anything this brand doesn’t do right? I preach their Real Push-up Liner and Roller Lash Mascara to anyone who will hear me. It helps a make-up noob like me end up with the winged eyeliner and long lashes just like the glamorous girls from Mad Men.

M.A.C: This is one brand I can definitely say ‘I got it from my mama’! Mama Sav has a huge collection of MAC products and believes that once you go M.A.C, you never go back. TOPMAN: Can you scream birthday or Valentine’s day any louder? TOPMAN is my go-to spot for gifts I want to get the guys in my life. Be it a boyfriend or my brother, they have styles that are trendy and masculine – and you know that’s necessary when your guys can’t dress themselves! Nothing feels better than finding that perfect suave looking blazer for my man, or some casual coloured shorts to throw my bro’s way.
