Foodies, get excited! The Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival is revving up for another round of tantalising gastronomic experiences, showcasing Hong Kong’s finest in F&B. This year, the festival has partnered with over 400 restaurants to curate a city-wide “Taste Around Town” experience, allowing you to discover a “New Adventure”, “New Experiences” and “New Perspectives”. From thematic Wine Walks through our favourite neighbourhoods to live-streamed wine tastings and special menus from top-tier restaurants, there’s plenty to whet your appetite.

Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival: City Wine Walk

New Adventure: City Wine Walk

Running through the entire month of November, the festival will host its first-ever City Wine Walks covering four different neighbourhoods – Central, Kennedy Town, Wan Chai and Tsim Sha Tsui. The concept is simple: with your handy digital tasting pass and e-maps, you can enjoy special limited-time offers at any of the 50 participating restaurants and bars around the four areas.

From a tour of award-winning bars in Central to caffeinated cocktails in Kennedy Town, a fusion of international flavours at Wan Chai and drinks with a view in Tsim Sha Tsui, Sassy will be sharing its top picks in each neighbourhood over the next few weeks to help you use your tasting tokens wisely.

There’s no time to waste! Check out the full list of participating bars and restaurants on the Wine & Dine website and get your tasting pass today. The first 100 to visit 20 restaurants will receive a wine-tasting kit and a $1,000 in Future Cruise Credits for four-night itineraries on board the Royal Caribbean Cruises cruise liner, Spectrum of the Seas.

Tasting Passes start at $250 – head here to book your Tasting Pass now!

Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival: Tasting On Air

New Experiences: Tasting On Air

Looking to get your wine on? Over two consecutive weekends (6-7 and 13-14 November), oenophiles can sign up to live-streamed wine tastings led by the likes of internationally-renowned wine critic James Suckling, master sommelier Nelson Chow and Bordeaux-accredited wine tutor Corinne Mui. The specially-curated tasting kits, now available for pre-ordering, will allow you to interact and sample bottles along with the experts from the comfort of your living room.

More of a cocktail connoisseur? You’ll also find corresponding tasting kits for expert-led sustainable mixology masterclasses, whisky and oyster pairings and more on the Wine & Dine website. Those who are unable to make it to the live programmes will be able to watch reruns online.

Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival: Chinese Omakase by Masterchefs

New Perspectives: Chinese Omakase By Masterchefs

Food-wise, this edition of the Wine & Dine Festival sets out to highlight Chinese cuisine by way of “Chinese Omakase by Masterchefs”, featuring a “five elements” menu at JW Marriott Hotel’s Man Ho Chinese Restaurant, a “15 cooking techniques” banquet at NUVA, and a feast encompassing eight regional cuisines at Mott 32.

As usual, you can expect a slew of delectable dining deals to be enjoyed throughout the month, with discounts of up to 30% off at 400+ restaurants, plus limited-time special menus from 60 Michelin-starred and award-winning establishments. Bookings will open from Monday, 1 November – we’re expecting tables to fill up quickly, so be sure to mark your calendars.

While you’re pencilling in dates, it’s worth noting that there will be more exciting gourmet-themed events happening around town in conjunction with the Wine & Dine Festival, such as the Tong Chong Street Coffee Festival in Tai Koo, LKF Cuisine Celebrations in Central, a Sake pop-up at Times Square and a Cocktail Roadshow at K11 Art Mall.

With all this and more to look forward to, you won’t want to miss this year’s Wine & Dine festival. Forks at the ready! Make sure you secure your tables before spots sell out!
