Say goodbye to humidity hair with ghd’s latest styler!

The ghd platinum launched exclusively in Lane Crawford in-store and online on Wednesday, 26 August and will be in all other salons around Hong Kong on Monday, 7 September – whoopee! We’re well aware of the power of ghd products (just check out our makeovers with the ghd team here!), but we wanted to know what makes the ghd platinum different from their other stellar stylers…
How is the ghd platinum different?
Okay, so you know that ghd stay true to their name by promising a ‘good hair day, every day’ with their products. But the platinum promises this and more by not compromising on the health of your hair. If you’ve always worried about using stylers and accidentally singeing or frazzling your luscious locks, then fear no more! The ghd platinum claims to actually reduce hair breakage by over 50% and increase shine by 20%, all while being kinder to your hair colour. It’s been carefully tested with patented tri-zone technology that has six sensors to keep the optimum styling temperature at 185 degrees celsius. We’ve tried these stylers ourselves and can testify that our hair was left feeling smooth and silky rather than scorched and seared – win!
