hong kong events weekend activities things to do whats on december 2023

WestK Nightscapes 2026 is back at the Harbourside East Lawn as the West Kowloon Cultural District’s open-air evening festival, running on weekends from Friday, 13 February to Sunday, 8 March, 2026 — through the Lunar New Year and into the Art March season. The event transforms the Art Park into a nighttime destination, offering live music, artisanal markets and food stalls against the backdrop of the Victoria Harbour skyline.

Designed as an after-dark experience, Nightscapes invites visitors to gather on the lawn with craft beer, listen to DJ sets at sunset and explore a rotating selection of local food vendors.

Activities take place each weekend from 2pm to 9pm at the Harbourside East Lawn. Upcoming events include:

Friday, 27 February to Sunday, 1 March, 2026 | 3pm to 4pm
The debut of Chu Pak Man food stall, with an ‘Energetic Rhythms – African Drum Workshop’ running on Sunday.

Friday, 6 March to Sunday, 8 March, 2026 | 3pm to 6pm
Final opportunity to visit the harbourfront market and live DJ sets. The ‘Flying Fortune – Balloon Twisting’ workshop takes places on Saturday and Sunday.

No tickets or pre-registration required for the market or music, but workshops are available on a first-come, first-served basis!

WestK Nightscapes programme highlights include:

The Sound Stage: Features an eclectic lineup of live bands, indie singers, jazz musicians and DJs. Programming evolves from acoustic sets in the afternoon to electronic and rhythmic performances after dark.

Nightscapes Market: A collection of local lifestyle brands and boutiques. The final weekends shift focus toward Art March previews and local craft offerings.

Gourmet Pop-ups: A rotating food lineup. Upcoming sessions are headlined by Chu Pak Man, serving pork-centric comfort food and ‘typhoon shelter’ style fried rice rolls.

Pet-Friendly: The site remains open to pets, with stalls such as MaBean offering 3D-printed pet collectibles.
