Amal Lin’s Journey
Running in parallel to “Cotton in the Ears, Furball in the Throat”, Taiwanese artist Amal Lin’s debut solo exhibition draws heavily from the Persian miniature tradition. “Journey” is based on Lin’s own journey of recovery from a severe eating disorder, and the meditative labour-intensive process of creating these small paintings — grinding her own mineral pigments and burnishing shell gold details on hand-dyed paper.
When: Tuesday to Saturday, 11am to 6pm
