Beef & Liberty

Serving its seasonal upgrade on the classic cheeseburger, Beef & Liberty’s Sweet Baby Cheesus Burger ($139) is back this month. Perfect for those who don’t love turkey (but are still after an indulgent festive treat), this beef patty is fully loaded with caramelised onions, brie, blue cheese, house pickles, and sweet cranberry sauce. Available all December, veggies need not miss out on the seasonal treat, as the traditional beef patty can be swapped for a plant-based Impossible alternative.

R&R Bagels

We love R&R Bagels for a treat at any time of the day (and year!). Whether it’s breakfast, brunch, lunch (or even dinner paired with a cocktail), its creative and tasty inventions are always well-received, but its Christmas Bagel ($95) has got to be our favourite. Available right up until 31 December, this seasonal special includes turkey, bacon, blue cheese, cream cheese, gravy, cranberry sauce and plenty of stuffing, all sandwiched between your choice of bagel.

Marks and Spencer

M&S can do no wrong is our eyes, and its Turkey Feast sandwich will certainly make lunchtimes all the merrier this Christmas season. Priced at $59, this sarnie is filled to the brim with roast British turkey breast with pork, sage and onion stuffing, cranberry sauce, smoked British bacon, mayonnaise and fried onions. Pret

Along with M&S, Pret has got to be another of our favourites for a grab and go lunch, wherever we are in the city. The must-try this season is The Pret Christmas Lunch ($27 for a half size), which is stuffed with turkey breast and stuffing, cranberry sauce, spinach, crispy onions and mayo. This seasonal favourite certainly doesn’t scrimp on flavour or fillings! For a warming alternative, go for the Pret Christmas Turkey Hot Wrap ($46), which features slices of turkey breast, stuffing, sweet potato falafel and cranberry sauce in a tortilla wrap.

Sassy tip: If you’re after a veggie option, make sure to try out Pret’s Brie and Cranberry sandwich ($27 for a half size). Full of slices of creamy and mild brie, paired with sweet and tangy cranberry sauce, this sandwich also features spinach and pine nuts for added freshness and a little texture.

TQM Taqueria Southside

Though technically not a burger or a sandwich, we couldn’t leave Te Quiero Mucho Taqueria’s Christmas Taco ($50) off our list. Sure to wish a very Feliz Navidad, the seasonal taco features turkey carnitas, chipotle and pickled cranberries for a flavoursome taste of the holidays.
