zanzo 3For goodness sake!
When it comes to Japanese food, the first things that come to mind are probably sushi and California rolls (yummmmm). But what about sake, the famous Japanese rice wine that’s 80% water? Brewed from the finest rice and water, sake from different regions has different and distinct flavours – and if you’re interested in learning more and getting a taste for the best, how about hitting Zanzo’s special sake tasting workshops, guided by certified sake specialists? You’ll get to try sakes from four different regions alongside Japanese tapas dishes designed to pair with each wine… and end things on a sweet note by putting Japan’s No.1 Plum Wine to the test. So now you’ll know what goes best with some delish teriyaki chicken… and no, it’s not a beer!

When: 5 & 12 October, 2.30-4.30pm
Where: Zanzo, G/F, 15-16 School Street, Tai Hang, Hong Kong
How much: $380 per person, including wine and tapas; call 2750 6490 for more info

Promotion throughout the whole of October, where you can enjoy discounted prices on manis, pedis and even Shellac treatments done in any shade of pink from their vast library of polishes; with the likes of Chanel, Tom Ford, Deborah Lippmann, butter LONDON and Ciaté all on offer, you’ll be spoilt of choice! The best part is that 50% of the proceeds from these treatments will go straight to the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation… so this really is the best excuse to get your girlfriends together for a mani party!
