So whether you’re headed to one of HK’s beaches, are off on your travels to chase the sun elsewhere or simply taking a dip in one of the city’s swimming pools (or a swanky hotel one!), these stores will have you fit for summer all year round!
Sabina Swims
Local lass Sabina Wong has been designing high quality, gorgeous print swimwear for years – and we love Sabina Swims just as much now as we did right at the beginning! With a range of mix n match bikini tops and bottoms to suit any style, from the conservative to downright steamy, plus a few one-pieces, resort wear and a maternity line too, you’re certain to find something to flatter your figure. Sizes go up to 38C on top and 40-42 inches for your bottoms.
All feature Sabina’s signature but subtle pearl and jade bead detailing; this summer, I’m eyeing up their new retro-glam Liz Taylor swimsuit (shame it doesn’t come with Liz’s diamonds too!) and their best-selling Bold One Halter Bikini in fun vibrant prints like coral and gingko prints – certain to make a few heads turn beach-side!

Ozzie Cozzie
Ozzie Cozzie specialises in swimwear brands from Down Under – and if anyone knows how to do swimwear, beach bum Aussies and NZers should have it covered! Stocking flirty and feminine lines like Seafolly, Sunseeker, Baku Australia and Moontide (exclusively in Hong Kong and particularly good for curvy bods, shown above) , they stock UK sizes 8-18, all styles from booster bras to E-cups and will help with fitting and advice too. Ozzie Cozzie also sell a range of coordinating resort wear and beach accessories, including the all-important sun tan!

Rush
Rush sells a range of active wear and accessories – and amongst the yoga and fitness gear, there is some swimwear in there too! Offering a balance between items for the serious athlete and the pure beach babe, you will find Aussie fave Seafolly, British brand Zoggs and the super-haute Brazilian line ViX (above).

Wanderlust
Not strictly in Hong Kong… but when you’ve been recommended something by our super-stylist That Girl Jasmine Webster, you know it’s too good to ignore! Wanderlust are a Philippines-based and designed brand – but the joys of the Internet mean you can now get hold of their reasonably-priced on-trend swimwear without even being in sniffing distance of Manila! Sizes go up to 34-36D on top and 38-39 inches on the bottom, and shipping to Hong Kong is reasonable via DHL.
This season, I’m eyeing the retro romance of their high-waist bikini (think Liz Taylor and Marilyn Monroe’s sexy 1950s beach perfection and you’re there) and their ingenious cute reversible bandeau top, whilst more daring types will love their cut-out strappy peek-a-boo bottoms.
Itsie Bitsie
We’ve waxed lyrical about Itsie Bitsie already here – suffice to say the newest bikini stop on the block has us smitten! All designed by local girl Cristina Wilkinson, with silks and prints for their resortwear sourced from Bali, this has to be one of our fave new boutiques to launch in HK… and all just in time for summer! Tops go from an AA to an EE cup whilst bottoms go from UK size 8-14; all bikinis and bottom also tie up at the back or round the sides so have a little bit of flexibility in there too!
I’m in love with the classic Hollywood glamour of the Panel Me Up and Dip Me In black swimsuit; loving those extra thick straps, no worries I’ll be falling out of this one! Did I mention that the names are inspired by OPI nail polish?! And we all know how much I love my nail polish…

Escapade Sports
Escapade has one of the largest ranges of swimwear in HK, for both the serious swimmer and those who just want to splash around and get a great tan. For the dedicated athletes amongst you, check out TYR, Orca and BlueSeventy; if you’re hitting the surf or the high seas, check out Neil Pryde for activity-based swimwear and wetsuits. Meanwhile, if the most activity you plan on doing is reaching out your arm to sip on a cocktail, the cheeky bright prints of Budgy Smuggler, the Aussie awesomeness of Seafolly (above) and the super-luxe designs of Maryan Mehlhorn and StarBlu should have you sorted.

Roxy/Quiksilver have slowly been opening bigger and better stores throughout Hong Kong over the last few years… and now you can find their distinctive 70s inspired prints and carefree cool almost everywhere! Their mix n match tops and bottoms are especially great for dressing athletic frames and are best accessorized with a surf board (if only for photo purposes!); sizes go up to XL at 39.5 inches for the bust and 42 inches on the hips. Sassy tip: check out the outlet in Tung Chung’s Citygate for some bargains!
