In celebration of our 3 year wedding anniversary my husband took me to the St. Regis in Bali for little weekend get away. The flight was just under 5 hours, so a bit long to just go for the weekend. I would say if you’re planning to travel that far try to schedule it when you have at least 3 days free. Plus the immigration in Bali isn’t very efficient, I literally waited in line for about 2 hours (trust me, I was NOT happy!). So needless to say when I arrived to the St. Regis I was ready to get into serious vacation mode!
The St. Regis, Bali sits along the pristine shores of Nusa Dua about 20 minutes from the Denpasar Airport . This tranquil five star resort officially opened their doors the end of 2009 and the designers didn’t miss a beat.
The expansive property is surrounded by lush gardens, Balinese sculptures and has the most incredible swimmable lagoons creating the ultimate tropical paradise.
123 guest rooms and luxurious villas resemble true Balinese architecture with a modern twist and are loaded with every imaginable upgrade… cozy king size beds with the softest linens, Miele kitchenettes, lavish marble bathrooms, large soaking tubs, outdoor rain showers. Each Villa has it’s own plunge pool with either ocean or lagoon views. It’s quite easy to get spoiled at the St. Regis with 24 hour butler service to meet any of your holiday needs.
The resort is complete with 2 restaurants, 2 bars and even a deli so there is bound to be cuisine to meet your satisfaction.
We let the minutes of our days pass while lounging around on the over sized bed like sun sofas that flank the pool. We only escaped the serenity of the outdoors to visit the Remede Spa which was an incredible sanctuary offering an array of therapies.
I found the staff to be genuinely interested in making our stay pleasant and comfortable. Overall I really enjoyed my time at the St. Regis and I think the property might be one of the nicest I’ve ever visited!
