We all have had that week, when Friday seems like a year away and we need a little time to switch off – and I mean really ‘slide to power off’. I decided to try out The Oriental Spa’s two hour Sodashi Radiance treatment at the Landmark Mandarin, which was perfectly nestled between my last meeting and home!
As soon as I arrived, I was whisked away to The Sanctuary Suite, which comes with a relaxation pool, steam and sauna facilities… it does make you feel ever so exclusive! It’s perfect if you’re looking for some down time before ‘shooting your planner’ as a bride, or even if you’re a bridesmaid and need a way to calm your bride-to-be bestie!
After enjoying the facilities, and mentally tuning out in preparation for the treatment, I was ready to go. The treatment started with a Sodashi Signature Skin Renewal body scrub using a heavenly combination of rose, ylang ylang, bergamot, orange essential oils and himalayan salt, which left my skin feeling baby soft! If you’re like me and your senses are elevated with scent, you’re in for a delight – it truly transports you to a world where everyone is Deepak Chopra.
The scrub-massage treatment was followed by a quick warm shower before we started the Sodashi Marine Lightening and Brightening facial, which helps to restore the healthy glow that no blush can achieve! This involved using the essential cleansers, a facial massage and a deep skin mask to help exfoliate. This was then followed by essential oils to help soothe the skin. Any fellas in your life who need some grooming? They also have a specially designed facial for men, which helps tackle ingrown hair and rebalance the skin.
