Next Friday 12th November at 9.30pm, KELY Support Group will be hosting the film premiere for The Cove at The ONE in TST. The Cove tells the amazing true story of how an elite team of activists, filmmakers and freedivers embarked on a covert mission to penetrate a hidden cove in Japan, shining light on a dark and deadly secret: the state-licensed killing of thousands of dolphins. This film created much noise when it was first launched internationally, exposing the environmental threats facing dolphins, and it’s very exciting that it is finally coming to Hong Kong. By hosting a showing of the movie, the KELY Support Group hope to raise awareness of this urgent environmental issue amongst youth and the Hong Kong community. All proceeds will go towards KELY’s programmes for youth development which include youth drug abuse and suicide prevention programmes, a very timely cause.
Individual tickets are HK250 each and can be purchased by contacting Sharon Poon on 2521 6890 or by emailing [email protected]. The Cinema at The ONE is located at 100 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui.
