NailHaus – Tame your talons in CWB

12 October, 2015

Lunchtime manis are definitely my thing, so after very little begging and pleading, I convinced Lauren to come along to NailHaus with me to tame our talons. It had been way too long…

Smack in the heart of Causeway Bay (and literally right across the road from Times Square), on the second floor of an unassuming building, sits a nail sanctuary. We were quickly seated, while one of the lovely staff members offered up tea and started scrolling through different movies on the big screen, letting us choose what entertainment to have on while our nails were tended to. Who knew a screening of Ocean’s Eleven was on the cards for the afternoon? (Hellooooo, Brad Pitt!)

NailHaus 1

A quick browse of the nail palettes and Lauren chose Limeade, a minty-green shade from CND’s Shellac range, and in true Sassy style, I opted for Lilac Longing, a shade of purple.

I had two lovely ladies work on one hand each (my nails were just that scruffy!) while the lady working on Lauren skilfully filed, cut her cuticles and laid down that Shellac base for a long-lasting finish.

In just about under an hour, we were both done and dusted and left with perfectly polished digits. Two awesome things about NailHaus: they’re open from noon ‘til 9pm (great if you need to get a quick mani between work and dinner) and a Shellac mani is just $298; a regular mani is just $150. Yep, the price points are definitely on the more reasonable end of the spectrum, and the staff at the salon maintain an effortless professionalism. Cool!

Here’s to three weeks of long-lasting colour and no chips!
