The Lion Rock Press

A favourite of ours here at Sassy; The Lion Rock Press is known for their quirky designs which merge HK landmarks with Western humour. For the fourth year running, an incredible 100% of the profits from their Charity Christmas Cards will be going towards the amazing Hong Kong charity, Mother’s Choice. I already plan to send everyone I know the Panda’s riding the Ding Ding cards!

The Society for the Relief of Disabled Children

The SRDC believe that every child has the right to live a happy and fulfilling life and are driven to create a society where all children can contribute and feel fulfilled. With many of their cards actually drawn by their students, including those with special education needs, they are truly helping to spread this message, whilst fundraising for the charity!

Available online here.

Inspired by the chilly temperatures Honkers experienced last winter, illustrator Laura Ho designed nine unique holiday cards, each featuring a signature spot in Hong Kong and a form of local transport beautifully coated in a sprinkling of snow! With 10% of all proceeds going to HK charity, Pathfinders, these cards are a must this festive season.

Order by emailing [email protected].

Charitable Choice

For something a little different, be sure to check out Charitable Choice and choose the Gift of Charity this year. Charitable Choice provides a secure, interactive platform that enables selected locally registered charities to raise funding and support towards projects that address pressing social needs in the community. Simply choose a card (and an amount to donate), send it to a loved one and let them choose the charity they wish to donate the value of the card to – making for the perfect, most generous gift this Christmas.

Look out for many more independent sellers and charity christmas cards available at Christmas fairs all over HK this season.

Don’t forget that charities like the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation and the Hong Chi Association also sell great blank greetings cards, which are perfect for any occasion!
