J.Crew lands at Lane Crawford!

J.Crew has finally landed in Hong Kong at Lane Crawford – and they had an official launch party at the IFC store to celebrate, bringing bursts of colour direct from New York to brighten up our world!

We were there to catch a glimpse of all the action and lucky enough to meet J.Crew’s very own Jenna Lyons, the creative force behind the all American brand. Lane Crawford and J.Crew have partnered up for the next year to help satisfy the cravings of all you J.CrewAholics and J.Crew Aficionadas out there until the stand-alone Hong Kong J.Crew store opens in 2013… so let’s hope this relationship continues to blossom and is here to stay!

Well-known for its preppy, fun take on classic tailored pieces, it comes as no surprise that J.Crew’s current collection is dominated by lots of cashmere and neon colour. J.Crew’s sumptuous Italian cashmere sweaters are a constant top seller (starting from $1980 here) and available all year round in just about every colour of the rainbow! We couldn’t keep our hands off the neon cashmere boyfriend sweaters, which would add some zest to a pair of white jeans or silk pants any day.

Jenna Lyons is renowned for her mix and match approach to styling (she LOVED our style blogger Sabrina’s huge DIY necklace!) and the J.Crew mannequins were dressed head-to-toe in a clash of unexpected colours, prints and textures. We absolutely loved this idea of pairing sequined embellished knits with tweed and python leather (note to self: file away in the style guides for fall!). J.Crew can also solve all your footwear needs with these unbelievable colourblocked suede pumps with patent trim; there are also some awesome versatile handbags too.
