And while dinner is off the cards this year, restaurants across town are making up for it with a selection of extra special brunch, lunch and takeaway menus to help you celebrate. Takeaway Valentine’s Day Menus
Especially for Valentine’s Day, two-Michelin starred Écriture delights with its signature heart-shaped caviar uni tart. The tart itself is available for takeaway, or can be enjoyed as part of the eight-course dine-in La Vie en Rose menu.

Elevate your standard sushi takeaway Netflix date with Brooklyn Yakuza’s Valentine’s Day picnic basket. This romantic Valentine’s Day option is filled to the brim with Japanese izakaya delights, including Scallop Ceviche in tosazu sauce, Miso Marinated Salmon in kombu soup, Truffle Soba with edamame and fresh winter truffle and a dessert of Black Sesame Crème Brulee, complete with marinated peaches and a sweet potato tuile. The basket comes with a bottle of bubbles, rose petals and LED lights to set the mood, and a cosy picnic blanket. Get your order in quick though – there’s only 20 baskets available! Hue is out to capture hearts this Valentine’s Day with its special three-course menu. Treat your SO to the likes of Australian quail, smoked mackerel and freshly-shucked oysters, along with al dente gnocchi with mushroom, celeriac, truffle cream sauce and kale, and Wagyu striploin served with black garlic puree. Saigonese specialities are the order of the day at Le Garçon Saigon. The charming brasserie presents a delicious celebration of love with oysters, grilled lobster, lemongrass chicken, razor clams and more. Available for dine-in, takeaway or delivery.

Going all out in the name of love, Porterhouse’s takeaway Gourmet Picnic Basket is designed to impress. Housed in a vintage picnic basket, this Valentine’s Day menu spotlights seafood and steak, with truffle caviar tarts, prawn cocktails, Australian Wagyu sirloin Focaccia sandwiches, vanilla panna cotta and more. Two Michelin-starred TATE Dining Room is bringing back its Date by TATE gastronomy box, just in time for Valentine’s Day. Enjoy an award-winning takeaway meal for two that includes a menu worthy of a fine dining restaurant experience. Think Caviar and Scallop Mousse, Lobster with Fregola and Onion Fondue, and Black Cod with Kumquat Grenobloise Sauce. Go all out with the addition of half a bottle of Champagne Billecart-Salmon Rose, or patisserie sets by Chef Graff Kwok. If you’re after a meat-centric feast to woo your love, head over to Morton’s.
