Brooklyn Yakuza

Elevate your standard sushi takeaway Netflix date with Brooklyn Yakuza’s Valentine’s Day picnic basket. This romantic Valentine’s Day option is filled to the brim with Japanese izakaya delights, including Scallop Ceviche in tosazu sauce, Miso Marinated Salmon in kombu soup, Truffle Soba with edamame and fresh winter truffle and a dessert of Black Sesame Crème Brulee, complete with marinated peaches and a sweet potato tuile. The basket comes with a bottle of bubbles, rose petals and LED lights to set the mood, and a cosy picnic blanket. Get your order in quick though – there’s only 20 baskets available! Hue

Hue is out to capture hearts this Valentine’s Day with its special three-course menu. Treat your SO to the likes of Australian quail, smoked mackerel and freshly-shucked oysters, along with al dente gnocchi with mushroom, celeriac, truffle cream sauce and kale, and Wagyu striploin served with black garlic puree. One-Michelin starred Roganic gives the humble takeaway a romantic glow-up for Valentine’s Day, with a five-course menu featuring exclusive dishes like celeriac soup with toasted hazelnut and parsley oil, uni custard topped with caviar, and beef short rib with truffled cream potatoes.

It’s a long distance love affair at TokyoLima this Valentine’s Day courtesy of its fusion Japanese Peruvian “Lovers” menu. The couples sharing menu starts with signatures like the La Causa with beetroot puree, prawn tartare and tempura, along with fresh oysters, before moving onto crowd favourites Yellowtail Tiradito, “Ki-mo-chi” Fried Chicken and a Valentine’s twist on the restaurant’s famous Tacu Tacu (spoiler alert: it features lobster!).
