Grab your sombrero and opt for a taste of Mexico
With an array of authentic cuisines in Hong Kong, it’s often hard to decide which type of delicacy to tempt your taste buds on any given night. From east to west, this great city has it all. But the decision is easier if we get a great deal along with delicious food. There is one weeknight when the choice is simple: Taco Tuesdays. Free-flow drinks coupled with yummy tacos definitely makes Mexican cuisine our go-to on the second day of the week!
One of our favourite spots in Kennedy Town has a Taco Tuesday that has us drooling! Featuring a beer pairing with each taco ($65), you can get a choice of delectable chicken, pork belly, fish or wagyu beef. Sassy tried and tested (and devoured!), each taco comes with a hand-selected pint of beer made to enhance the taco’s flavour. We had a hard time deciding which ones we loved most (chicken won out, but wagyu beef and pork were a close second and third), and we will definitely be going back for more!

From 6pm, enjoy two Mexicana-style craft beers and one taco for $100 every day.

A laid-back Mexican Cantina with a casual vibe makes this a great place to chill on a Tuesday. On-street seating is available for an alfresco option and the waiters and waitresses don comical shirts, adding to the restaurant’s playful feel. Tacos are just $10 every Tuesday (yes you read that right) with the purchase of at least one drink. But with happy hour margaritas for $40 and Mexican beers from $38 this is still an incredible bargain.

Although not all restaurants serving tacos have a Taco Tuesday deal, we didn’t want you to miss out on the ones that serve up tacos every day of the week. Here are a few of our faves:
The whole reason to come here is for the Mexican food (and stand-out guacamole). MEXUS offers up home cooking in a lively venue with fun and quirky décor. The tacos here are homemade with all the freshest ingredients and a combo of four costs just $188; with Happy Hour happening from 3pm-9pm you can accompany this with beers for just $38
