208 Duecento Otto negroni week

208 Duecento Otto

As one of our favourite Italian spots in the city, and known to serve its classic negroni (on tap!) every day of the week, this Negroni Week, 208 is offering the Negroni COOLER ($60). Presented as a classic negroni, the cocktail gets the added extra of an icy cold Campari and orange infused popsicle. As part of JIA Group, for every Negroni sold from 24 to 30 June, 208 will donate $10 per drink to Harmony House, a Hong Kong-based charity dedicated to helping victims of violence and promoting healthy relationships with families and communities.

208 will also be hosting a special fundraiser event for the occasion. Taking place on Tuesday, 25 June, 208 Negroni’s in 208 Minutes will see well-known industry figures come together in the hope of selling 208 negronis in 208 minutes! All drinks will be priced at $60, and all proceeds will be going directly to Harmony House.

Another city favourite that will be serving up a cool and refreshing offering this Negroni Week is 11 Westside. Head to Kennedy Town and enjoy the Strawberry Negroni Paleta (a Mexican ice pop) with Campari-infused strawberries ($60). The Mexican restaurant’s hidden bar, The Wilshire will also be serving the special for the occasion, with a portion of proceeds going to the Children’s Medical Foundation.

Back Bar

If you’re after a late-night negroni, look no further than Back Bar. Hidden inside Wan Chai’s Ham & Sherry restaurant, the tucked away bar will be offering two new cocktails from 24 to 30 June. The Copper Quartz ($60) will be made with Havana Club 3yr, Campari with grapefruit syrup and Carpano Classico; while the Yuzoburo ($60) features Beefeater Gin, yuzu shrub, Campari, Carpano Classico and thyme. Over the course of the week, Back Bar has also chosen to donate $10 from every Negroni sold to HK-based charity Harmony House.

Fineprint

Known for serving up Aussie-style coffee and breakfast goods, along with quality wine and cocktails, it comes as no surprise that Fineprint is combining its strengths when it comes to this year’s Negroni Week. With two Negroni-centric offerings available, the coffee shop will be serving up its own homemade negroni marmalade with ricotta on Fineprint Sourdough ($80). To wash it all down, a Campari + Cold Brew will also be on offer. Fineprint has created a twist on an Americano (a classic cocktail from the same family as a Negroni). The drink will feature Fineprint single origin Cold Brew coffee – PNG Eastern Highlands Boana AX in the place of Vermouth, along with Campari, sea salt, sugar and Capi soda.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Negroni Week may officially start on Monday, 24 June, but Fineprint will be serving both of its offerings from Friday, 21 June, with 50% of the proceeds going to Mercy Corps, a global non-profit organisation focusing on humanitarian aid.
