Too many dark spots? Caudalie answer YOUR beauty questions!

7 July, 2015

We’ve all had our fair share of beauty blunders and make-up mishaps, and this summer we’re determined to find the answer to perfect skin. We asked YOU to send in your beauty questions, and we were overwhelmed with the response! We chose a couple of recurring questions that Sassy Girls kept bringing up from hundreds of entries, and asked the skincare experts at Caudalie to give us some answers. Read below to find out the best way to get rid of dark spots and to get some insider beauty tips and tricks…

“My acne scars have turned into dark spots and won’t go away” – Charmaine

I believe you are referring to “acne marks”. Acne scars are transparent marks that go deep down into the skin. Acne marks, on the other hand, are caused by inflammation. It is necessary to adopt a daily anti-dark spot routine to treat them on the surface—and in the deeper layers—of the skin. We also recommend that you apply a non-photosensitising anti-dark spot moisturiser under your sunscreen as a preventive measure throughout the year. Vinoperfect Radiance Serum is a great natural product for you as it contains Caudalie’s patent viniferine which is 62 times more effective than vitamin C (and it’s non-photosensitive!).

“Dark spots! I’m turning 40 next month and have noticed a small patch of dark spots on my upper right cheekbone. Been using various whitening products but none have shown any results. Please help! :-(” – Suzanna

The Vinoperfect range is the answer for you! Effective ingredients = visible results. Besides using naturally effective products, protect your skin with a moderate protection (SPF 20) throughout the year and apply SPF 50 if you are taking part in outdoor activities. Apply a non-photosensitising anti-dark spot skincare product before your sunscreen to reinforce its anti-dark spot action.

“How do I keep my skin radiant?” – Jessica

To achieve a beautiful glow, you can benefit from skincare products, yet the secret to sustaining healthier and glowing skin is not in your makeup pouch, it’s in your diet. Blueberries, spinach, tomatoes, walnuts are good foods for long term radiant skin.

“I have got freckles which are hard to prevent even when I put on sunscreen.” – Tracy

Sweating and sebum will melt the sunscreen on your face. It is fundamental to renew the application every two hours.
