The month of the moustache is upon us Sassy Girls, and whether you love them or hate them, The Movember Foundation is leading a global commitment to change the face (quite literally) of men’s health. Having raise dover $5 billion dollars in funds for prostate cancer and poor mental health since 2003, this is definitely a charity we can get behind – facial hair aside! This year Movember is all about moving, and whether you simply want to support your S/O in growing his tash by making a donation, or just fancy getting involved, expect to see a surge in furry upper lips and a lot more MOVEment in the city! Be sure to register as an honorary Mo Sista and check out some of the events and campaigns happening across HK this month…

Wig Out Movember at Mahalo Tiki Bar

We know you’re totally over Halloween, but it’s time to face Pottinger Street once again in the name of Wigging Out for Movember! Pop on your funkiest, most colourful wig (or tash!) and watch HK’s favourite mixologists battle it out behind the bar for your votes on the best cocktail – all in aid The Movember Foundation. We’re big fans of Mahalo anyway for the buzzing atmosphere and tiki decor, so this is sure to be a fun night out!

When: Thursday, 19 November, 8pm-11pm
Where: Mahalo, QRE Plaza, Wanchai, Hong Kong

PizzaExpress & Beef & Liberty Mid Mo Party

Enter two whole floors of live music, pizza, burgers and plenty of free-flow vino (yippee!) complete with Mo makeovers and tons of giveaways and prizes. Additionally, Beef & Liberty will start serving their delicious Mo’Quinoa burger with every $10 from each sale going towards the charity! Healthy and helpful in one delicious bite.

Proceeds from every single bill will be raising additional funds towards the campaign, plus, if you walk into any of their 14 restaurants sporting your ‘tache’ you’ll receive a drink on the house!

–7 For All Mankind: Look your best as 7 For Mankind continue their charity movement with specially designed Mo t-shirts, of which 10% of proceeds will go directly towards the foundation. Great gifts for Christmas, girls!

–Gentlemen’s Tonic + Mandarin Barber: If you’re getting a little fed up of the beard burn, these two barbers will be offering quick mustache trims to the man in your life throughout the entire month.
