Discover a restaurant for every occasion, complete with exclusive special-value menus!

Between the hole-in-the-wall cha chaan tengs, international favourites and Michelin-starred eateries, our city boasts a dazzling array of ways to satisfy your appetite. It’s no wonder Hong Kong is considered to be the culinary capital of Asia! Whether you’ve lived here for six months or six years, there’s always a new foodie adventure to embark on – an impressive feat that we think deserves to be celebrated. And it seems we’re not the only ones!

DiningCity’s WE LOVE DINING initiative features exclusive menus from over 200 of Hong Kong’s top-rated restaurants. Running from now until Sunday, 29 November, get ready for your chance to discover a new restaurant for every occasion. Split into three tiers according to price, each dining destination promises a gastronomic journey to remember.

Poem

In the mood for a casual weekday lunch with colleagues? Look no further than WE LOVE DINING’s choice of Tier 1 restaurants ($118 for lunch/$188 for dinner), which includes our favourite sustainable Balinese hotspot Poem. Showcasing classic flavours from the island-nation, Poem delights with family-style dishes like Vegetable Yellow Curry, Braised Wagyu Beef and a vibrant Prawn Salad. Because there’s nothing like food to bring you together outside of the office!

Gyu Sou Ichuya

Got a mid-week catch up with friends? A selection of Tier 2 restaurants ($148 for lunch/$288 for dinner) tick all the boxes. Our pick? For lunch, you can’t go wrong with Japanese izakaya Gyu Sou Ichuya; expect sashimi, grilled meat skewers and more, soju optional! Dinner calls for an outing to London classic Duck & Waffle to feast on… ( you guessed it!) Confit Duck Leg and Buttermilk Waffle.

Arbor

Now it’s the end of the week and you’re planning for a special occasion with a loved one; a Tier 3 restaurant (from $188 for lunch/from $388 for dinner) fits the bill nicely. Look out for Michelin-starred options, like two Michelin-starred Arbor by Chef de Cuisine Eric Räty. Delight in innovative cuisine with Japanese ingredients and a Nordic touch – perfect if you’re looking to impress!
