Drink For Good

Drink at our favourite bars and help raise funds to support children with special needs? Sign us up! Every Wednesday this month Drink For Good is partnering up with some of the hottest bars in the city to donate 5% of every drink purchased to HandsOn Hong Kong.

Charity Pub Quiz

It’s time to set your competitive spirit free and test your trivia knowledge (all in the name of charity, of course), with Garage Society’s Charity Pub Quiz! A team of four to six people is just $300 (and includes beer!), and proceeds go towards Refugeek to educate refugees in tech and coding skills. What more of an excuse do we need to grab some friends, have a beer or two and get quizzical?

The Garden Gathering

Escape the city bustle and delve into nature with The Garden Gathering, a women-only three-day retreat set in the heart of Cheung Chau. With 40-plus leading teachers and influencers in Wellness, the retreat will feature more than 60 classes, along with nourishing organic meals.

The Movement Market

In partnership with RUMI XGuavaPass and The Vibe Tribe, join The Movement Market, a four-day event full of movement and yoga classes brought to you by Hong Kong’s finest Yogis and fitness instructors. Each day is dog- and kid-friendly, and will also feature pop-ups from the likes of Yarn in the Works, Honestly Green, NOW no waste and more.

Marco Polo German Bierfest 2017

You don’t need to hop on a flight to get a taste of Oktoberfest this month! Head to the Marco Polo Hotel in TST for its German Bierfest and enjoy a fun-filled evening of traditional German bites, selections of beers and all-night dancing. Kicking off on Friday, 20 October, the event will run every evening until Saturday, 11 November, so don’t miss it!

Pink Walk for Breast Health 2017

Get ready to wear pink this month and help raise funds for the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation. Now in its twelfth year running, this year’s pink walk will take place at The Peak, following the Peak Circle Walk. Even if you can’t participate in the event itself, you can still donate here.

When: Sunday, 22 October, 8:15am to 1pm

Pink Dot HK 2017

Don’t hang up your pink threads just yet, as Pink Dot HK 2017 is also happening this month! Taking place at West Kowloon Nursey Park, the free and fun outdoor concert and carnival is organised for and in support of LGBTI. Entrance is free, but make sure to bring some money to purchase food, drinks and merchandise on offer, and dress in pink to show your support.

#COOKFORSYRIA Eight-course Dinner

This month, eight of Hong Kong’s top chefs are coming together to bring you an eight-course meal to launch #CookForSyria in the 852. Hosted in Beef & Liberty’s California Tower location, throughout the evening enjoy dishes prepared by Nate Green of Rhoda and Peggy Chan of Grassroots Pantry, to name just a few of the talented chefs, along with free-flow drinks, exciting raffle prizes and a live auction.
