Are you the type of person that goes all out on Halloween? Or do you just like celebrating by keepin’ it casual and checking out everyone else’s Hallo-riffic outfits at crazy parties? Whichever you may be, Halloween is our favourite time of the year, as it’s the one and only time (besides the 7’s), where we get to let loose and step into a different personality. So, we’ve rounded up some of the most unforgettable parties that will give you a dreadfully daunting night!

La Huesuda: Death in the Basement

Head to this new Mexican bar in LKF and get treated to a night of frightful fun. Don’t have time to get decked out? No problem. A complimentary make-up artist will be on hand to turn you into a ghoulish sight. There will also be plenty of ‘glow in the dark’ tattoos, and DJ JEKEY will be spinning beats. Halloween Taco Tuesday

Are you a taco lover that wants to celebrate Halloween in a low-key way with a few friends, as far away from Lan Kwai as possible? (I feel ya). Head to Commissary, the casual So-Cal restaurant, on the scariest day of the year for its spooky decor (but chilled-out vibe), and free candy bags! Try its Halloween-special drink concoction, An American Werewolf in Hong Kong ($80), and of course, don’t forget the tacos.

When: Tuesday, 31 October, 6pm onwards

Zombie Survival

This one’s for all you fearless souls! Want to brave your way through a truly unique Halloween experience? Have you ever watched a zombie movie and wondered what it might feel like if you were in it? Hong Kong-based entertainment company, Glitter and Gore, is giving you the opportunity to step into a live action world of zombies and mark your safety at ‘The Safe Place.’ This interactive and highly entertaining three-hour long event is bound to give you both goosebumps and a night you won’t forget.

Dead Not Alive Halloween 2017

Join the dead at this ghastly costume Halloween party, hosted at one of the snazziest locations in town! Due to popular demand, ‘Dead not Alive’ is celebrating its 10th anniversary, giving it more of a reason to throw a party that’s bigger and better. Get groovy on the dance floor in one of its three rooms with Hong Kong’s favourite DJs, giving you plenty of music genres and vibes to choose from.
